Pacquiao-Marquez 3: Roach Would Want it at 145

Pac is already at the best weight class that suits him...There's no way he's going down WW....If a pac-JMM rematch will happen, It's just right that it happens at the WW division....

You're right. Roach won't let him go down cause that would weaken him the same way Cotto was. Roach is doing right by his man by demanding fighters naturally bigger than Pac (Cotto) weaken themselves while refusing to do likewise for fighters naturally smaller (JMM) than Pac. Its not "just right". Pac blows out JMM at 147! Fighting for the REAL 135 and 140 lbs titles at the same time give JMM a chance and makes a helluva promotion.

Manny hasn't even weighed close to 147 for both fights he had at WW

Manny weighted over 147 the night of both the fights...and weighed more than DLH on fight night...he jsut makes people weigh in at a lower weight so they cant go up as high

I hope everyone sees what BS is going on with Manny Pac.Yeh,now with the Marquez fight they want 145lbs.Thats total crap!if Pac goes up against Marquez for a third time it shouldn't be at more than 140lbs.I hope Marquez and his team see whats going on and don't except that weight of 145lbs.
With a guy they know can't or doesn't belong at 145lbs now they want it at 145.When Manny fights a guy thats 147lbs,they want him to come in lighter(145lbs).It's like Manny is getting the advantage he doesn't need.I love Manny Pac as a fighter but all this is just alil to much.There are over a dozen weight classes,Manny fights at his own weight class.

Wtf? Juan would have no chance at 145. 140 would be interesting, and manny can make 140 easily. I think manny only wants a KO victory.

You will probably find thats its not so easy to make 140 after his last fight , his body has been allowed to fill out and once that happens going back is not quite the same .

If Mayweather-Marquez weight limit was 147. Then i don't see why they can't have the fight at 145. Especially if Marquez is the one desperate for the fight to happen.

That said, Pac still destroys JMM @ 140. Although a little later during the fight.

and I've heard Roach say before that Cotto could weigh 160 on fight night and it wouldn't change the outcome

This just proves that they don't want Mayweather fighting the best.
People just want to see him lose. Roach is already looking for a way out
of this fight. Talking about it's going to be difficult negotiating with
Floyd but wasn't it difficult making Pac agree on the terms with De La Hoya
and Hatton? I don't know how old a lot of these guys on here are but
everything is as plain as day when it comes to Roach. I even posted a
video when Roach said the reason for him wanting Catchweights is to
give Manny an advantage but people on here still thought I was the
one bugging and making it up when Roach said it himself on the video.
I now realize some people want to believe want the want to believe to
justify how they feel with no hardcore facts so they can be right. A lot
of posts are more from a personal out look than an annalytical or non fiction
one. Roach is doing catchweights to give Pac an edge. Pac is the WW
champ now so he needs to step up and fight at 147. He demolished
Cotto so there is no excuses from Arum, Roach, Manny or his fans.
Manny/Mayweather at 147 or else Roach/Manny is nervous straight up.
How can Floyd be ducking Manny and his camp don't even want the fight
at 147? Also, why would they want to fight JMM at 145? Because Roach
saw how Marquez looked at the higher weights and want to secure
a dominate win over JMM because he is the only one to have debately
beat Manny the second time. Roach ain't slick. I like Manny Pacquiao
but it looks like their building his career up strictly on advantages alone.

I feel ya. Pac and his camp are doing the same thing Mayweather does and has done just not in a derogatory or hateful and **** talking way. Pac plays the all smiles nice guy about things and Mayweather's the in your face "**** you" type. Everyone wants and trys to get the "advantage" in fights (just as Hoya did when he fought Mayweather). Its just when Mayweather does it to someone, its called a b*tch move or not fair etc etc etc. But its Ok for Pac just not Mayweather....

again, people don't care how its done or who is doing it just as long as Mayweather loses. At the end of the day EVERYONE wants to see him get beaten. As Roach said it, they will take some time off and study Mayweather because its a different ball game with him. They know they NEED the advantage. Pacs holding the WW belt but wants his fights at 145????? When Mayweather does this he gets hated on.........
