The only way I can see it not happening is if Pac doesn't want the fight and let's other people talk for him and wriggle out of it.

It's okay to talk smack if you back it up or at least make the effort to back it up (as sometimes one's opponent has some say in the matter). Talking smack about doing something in the ring then delibrately doing the exact opposite is what sticks in my craw.

I understand your point. To me it is just selling fights, no one has ever really sold a fight saying I am going to boxing the **** out of this guy for 12 rounds and not allow him to do anything. It is false advertising but sometimes he backs it up though, against Gatti he did, against Zab he did, against Hatton he did but against Oscar and Baldomir he certainly really did not back up what he was saying (he really did not run his mouth about JMM).

He will certainly win a fight in boring fashion if it comes down to it, he really does not care if he pleases the fan or not, as a gambler I respect his view because I want the guys I bet to to win by any means they can but I can understand why people wanting to see action would be miffed at such an attitude.

That is another reason I tend not to listen to him, what he says does not really match up with reality as I know it, whenever he jumps the shark I just chuckle and say whatever Floyd.

The 147 pound list is the sickest top 25 in boxing no doubt, really great fighters at 147 can not even crack the top 25.

135 is pretty sick also though, but that is where Floyd's best work was done so he is much more likely to be on that list (if you are rolling 130 into 135 anyways).

i dont have any problem with a pac-floyd fight being made. i won't have any problem too with the purse being 55-45 for pac or 50-50.

nope, the only way it won't be made is floyd's gonna act like a princess again and moan about major butthurt.

but pac is under no pressure at the moment to do anything. he has the luxury of waiting for the ssm-berto winner.

Yeah, historically Middle, Welter, and Lightweight have been boxing's best. Each probably has at least double the number of ATGs as any of the other 5 "old-school" weight classes.
