    Sports business is a topic that has always interested me, I do not see why my interest in the business aspect of boxing is a bad thing.

    You are free to think what you want about Floyd fans different strokes for different folks, but how is it wrong for a fan of the sport to appricate one of the best practioners of recent times.

    Why resort to petty name calling and generalizations why not debate like an adult?

      I can't respect that little punk period. I took GREAT pleasure in watching Chavez beat him to a pulp and I dislike Chavez.

        Debate with Mayweather stans is an impossibility: All one gets from the effort is a never ending stream about how Floyd is the most skilled fighter ever (he isn't), how he'd KO George Foreman (when does Floyd ever KO anyone?), how he blows Ali away (afterall how many PPV buys did ALI ever get?), how he ****s on Leonard, Hearns, Hagler, Duran, and Whitaker and would beat them all in the same night. This despite the fact that Mayweather has never fought an in-prime great and the one in-prime near-great that he DID fight beat him in the eyes of everyone who ISN'T a Floyd nuthugger, that Mayweather CLAIMS to be the best Welterweight in the world and those claims get parrotted by his zombified stans yet instead of fighting any top Welters he has to dig up a past-prime Featherweight to fight.

        To put it bluntly: I don't debate nuthuggers, I make fun of them.

          Dude, that is the opposite side of the same coin you hate.

          The man deserves some credit and you are giving him zero. Floyd has had a pretty good career, could it be better sure he could have done more but he has fought plenty of very good highly thought of fighters and does not take away from what he has actually done. Is Floyd the greatest ever not by any means, but I certainly believe he is capable of competing with the very best and is not like to get blown out by anyone. I think Floyd would have taken care of business in any era, I don't know how far he would get but I think he would certainly take care of business against some great fighters.

          I though you were an alright guy with some knowledge but on this subject your view is as slanted as a shanty in a hurricane so you really have no room to diss anyone.

            Thank you jesus freaking christ!!!!

            This is what ive been saying all along. How da hell did this guy get such high status with his resume?

            His 2 best wins is diego corrales & castillo FFS!

            It seems like he talks so much & so profusely & convincingly at how great he is, combined with his undefeated record he has somehow convinced even knowledgeable fans & scribe that he is the greatest skilled blah blah blah of all time.

            I asked a raging ***** this question;

            If Pink Floyd wasnt american, brash, concieted, lets say he was a quiet japanese fighter, & he fought the same fighters, would he be held in such high regard?

            I got him to at least admit that it was a interesting question & that he doesnt know.....

                Please answer this question;

                If Pink Floyd was not american, loud, brash, pick any race, lithuanian, swedish, whatever,

                but a quiet, nice, humble not american boxer, the same resume, same type of opponents, undefeated & everything...

                Would you hold him in the same regard? Honestly....

                  Here's where you're off: Primarily it's his nuthuggers I distain. I am, however, very equal-opportunity when it comes to making fun of nuthuggers once they reach a certain level of abject obnoxiousness. See threads where I've ridiculed Cottards unmercifully or driven Klitschko-Stans so far over the edge that they got themselves banned. I used to smack around the Tyson KoolAid drinkers but since they've been pretty quiet over the past year or so they've dropped off my radar screen. Ultimately it's blind, unreasoning fanaticism for a fighter that blinds a person's objectivity that I detest.

                    No he would not be, I am fine on Joe I do not think he is overly great but he certainly is great can't argue with his results.

                    I have followed Floyd for a long time since the beginning of his carrer, I remember watching him at the Olympics. That is why I ama fan of his have been for a long ass time and if you are a fan you stick with a guy. If it was not for all the unfair bashing he gets I would not even want to talk about him, but since there are very few people with boxing knowledge that are will to put their neck out for him I do it. Before I got here I was a fan of his but since comming here overzelous generalizing *******s like yourself have made me more of a fan of his.

                    If he can take care of business in the ring that is all that matter and Floyd has always taken care of bisness in the ring to my liking, if you feel differently fine but there is no such thin as a correct opinion no matter how much we argue~
