Whether there is more cash to be made in Europe I dont know but are you seriously telling me that when B-Hop and Jones reigned there was anyone from Europe who were better competition?

Do me a favour? He fought Tocker Pudwell for god sake.

Because at the time the best fighters were in the US. The Americans refused to go overseas cause they didn't want to get robbed. It is a double standard but I feel like you would more likely get robbed going overseas than fighting in the US

All fighters pad their records. Hopkins fought a lot of bums as well, to pad his record after his loss to Jones and this is coming from a Hopkins fan. I'm not even a fan of Calzaghe, just being fair.

Come on man. How many horrible decisions have we bitched about on here of fights that all took place in the U.S.

Bad judging knows no national boundaries.

Yanks are so ****** at times.

They don't understand how it goes in British boxing. You must conquer your domestic scene and then Europe.

Unless you were amazing as an amateur and were put in against top fighters in your first few fights, you'll have to fight about 5 - 10 bums before you're even considered to be put against the top in the domestic scene. Once you've beaten the 5 best or so it's onto the European scene.

Calzaghe doesn't decide who he fights, his promoter does. Everyone with half a brain knows Wank Warren milks his fighters. Now that Calzaghe has finally proved himself, people still hate on him.

Remember how Lacy was going to destroy him? Or even BHop/Jones Jr. He beat everything you put forward. He even called out Roy several years earlier.
