Yes, Dirk. In the real world, fighters do the fighting, not the negotiating. Especially when the fighter is steamed because he just had a fight cancelled for the umpteenth time.

I thought a promoters job was to get the fights their fighter wanted? In the real world, maybe its different?

GTFOH! Are u serious? This man just offered clottey a date and a fight with a figure larger than he recieved to fight the hype job cotto! On top of that, PW is making less than what cotto made.

Clottey was already scheduled to fight on the same date at 154 or 147.nIf @ 154 then he wouldnt even have to drop weight. At 147 then PW is at a disadvantage as he was training to be @ 160! Get ***in real. U just lookin to shyt on this guy who is the far more superior fighter in the game right now.

Clottey just ducked PW becuz he aint getting enuff cash to get his azz whooped. Thats too simple to see. Add clottey to the pot with the rest of the divas at 147.

          147 is a joke!!!!!

So because Williams said in an interview that he isnt fighting Clottey that would be the cue for Clottey to stop training and send his trainer to africa?? Lol we have a lot of comedian and ******s on these boards.

Yes, I believe they did that (Pavlik). Now that the options are few, you have to go with what you have. Don't you think they spoke to Williams prior? Obviously they did or this thread wouldn't exist, now would it?

Anyway, that's the bottom line. Along with the other points I mentioned that you didn't/couldn't respond to.

Some people will say anything to justify their stance. Even if it's complete 6th grade crap like this.

                  2: The fight gets cancelled
3: Clottey sends his trainer home.
4: 5 days later an offer from Williams for 650K is on the table.

Based on that Clottey says he doesn't have enough time to train because there's only 5 weeks untill the fight? Surely that cannot be his primary excuse or is something missing in the timeline?
Yes! U forgot to mention 5. his HEART left to Africa with his trainer and there are no more return flights until after the 5th of Dec.

No its a cue for Clottey to keep traning intensively because Quintana and Williams are basically the same fighter

I really dont want to hear how Clottey wants to fight Williams in two years time AKA Mosley wanting Mayweather now. When you pull ****s like Clottey just did then i lose respect for you.

This is a guy who everybody believe would fight anyone at anytime and he isnt about money, well guess what all boxer are about money just like Mayweather...No ******** difference.
