      Exactly.

And Josh is talking about the arena being full and Miguel making millions. Yeah, Miguel made $2 million because every single paying fan in MSG was Miguel's.

There won't be 16,000 paying fans for Williams-Clottey.

Less fans = less money. understand?

You can look at it in 2 ways. The first way is that it makes it look like Clottey doesn't want to fight him because although 650k doesn't look like much for a world class boxer, this is a big pay day for him as he made less to fight Miguel Cotto.

Or you can say Paul Williams is being a cheap skate and trying to get an undertrained Clottey for low money, and easy boost of the resume.

        I don't really know who's right.

Clottey does have a point but i think he needs to put up or shut up.
He has his chance to fight Paul Williams and he isn't going to take it. Williams went after the other two because THEY HAVE BELTS CLOTTEY. You are the third option and your time came up and you backed out. So no more excuses or calling williams out.

And Clottey is lying. They began negotiating with his team the NEXT DAY.

650k is probably the second highest payday of his career. Unbelievable. Like I said, it'll be Martinez because this guy is just a clown. Get in the ring, man - you're 0 for your career against elite fighters.

Can't you read? He's only getting 5 weeks to prepare. Doesn't matter how much he was getting paid to fight Quintana because he was going to get a full training camp in AND Quintana was just a stepping stone for Clottey and the risk of getting a big fat L on his record was a lot less, meaning less risk for a bigger reward down the road.

GTFOH. 5 weeks? How many does he need for Williams? Three months? A year? A regular camp is 6-8 weeks. He was already in camp for Quintana. So you do the math.
