If this fight happened anywhere else in the world other than the UK, Murtazaliev would have won - probably 8 rounds to 4. Josh Kelly spent more time on the floor in the second half of the fight than standing up and fighting. And yes, commentary was comical too. Talk about commentators being one eyed supporters for the local boy.

Anyway, at least Josh Kelly fought the right type of fight against Murtazaliev's seek and destroy approach. I am not sure how many people could actually stand toe to toe with Murtazaliev and live to tell the tale. Just ask you know who.

Still dangerous? Yes, But not quite the Boogeyman people thought. He'd be a live underdog against Ortiz,Ennis and Fundora.

Ennis was never offered a fight with Murtazaliev. Stop lying.

Murtazaliev is slow, basic, extremely overrated, and I would pick Ennis, Ortiz, or Fundora to beat him. I said this long before this fight too.

was a chit fight, Bakhram was following Kelly around instead of try to cut the ring off and was throwing one shot at a time. Kelly was able to control the rhythm of the fight and Bakhram's slow feet held him back. when Bakhram did hurt Kelly the ref called time out and let him recover

Any one could see if this went to the cards murta wasn't returning home with his belt.
Ineffective at cutting the ring off not throwing combinations although Kelly's 'hit and not get hit' was just running from danger.
Murta shouldve pressed hard after that knock-down.
                Kelly is food for Boots

                  That’s not what Murtazaliev said.

“They had the opportunity to fight me – Ortiz twice and also Ennis – but they did not fight me because they could have fought with me,” Murtazaliev said. “So if they think they’re the best in their weight division, but they’re not fighting other boxers and they don’t have belts. So who did they beat in their division? Which big names [have they beat] to call themselves the best? So they haven’t…

“Ennis can fight with me anytime. My door is open for him and if he wants, he can fight. In the media, they talk that they want to fight the best and when it comes to the business they try to avoid the fight, or they put the amount of the money too high that it’s not affordable for the fight. So it’s basically – it’s about the money, the money and the business. My door is open to any fighter in the division.”

After performing almost too well against Tim Tszyu in 2024, Bakhram Murtazaliev has gotten nowhere near the leading names in the 154lbs division and has had to wait for a willing contender.

Wow, quite impressive. I have to watch the whole fight and score, but surprising Murtuzaliev got knocked down and seemingly outboxed in some rounds.

This division, I think Ennis dominates it. He's a level above everyone there.

If Bellew is the most objective out of the crew, you know how bad the commentary and whole team was. But hey this UK DAZN Team is always the worst and most biased crew in boxing history.
