I didn't think Kelly could keep Bakhram off him for 12 rounds. I thought Kelly would gas mid fight. Cong**** to Kelly, he really upped his game. At times late in the fight, he did run, but most of the fight he controlled distance and landed the better shots. Look at each fighter's face at the end. Josh deserved the decision

Worst country to fight in. No fair shake for the traveler, it's just impossible to win a close bout on decision especially against an Englishman.

Worst referees also, always too much implicated in favor local guys.

I think Manny Steward would be proud that Josh adapted the Kronk Gym style and luring a fighter in with the low jab and then popping his shots off, ala Hilmer Kenty. Hearns though had huge power behind his right.

That was no robbery. Close competitive fight and the decision was fine.

Anyway, Josh Kelly has always been talented. The result isn't that shocking.

People read way too much into Kelly's only defeat but those in the know, they know he had a whole heap of issues outside of the ring.

He certainly isn't good enough to be the superstar they used to say he was going to be, but he's a good talented fighter that'll give most world level fighters a good fight and arguably beat many of them who come with a basic style.

A mature controlled performance by Kelly. Showed some lovely skills. Ruskie was pretty basic but everyone else ran from the fight. Who dares wins Rodney

              Keely absolutely dominated that fight.

9th and 10th were the only clear rounds for Bakhram. You might not like the way he fights, but Kelly clearly won almost every other round.

Having said that, Boots will knock him out for sure.

i was wrong about this one. Hopefully this means Bakhram won't have to wait 15 more months to get his next fight. A world champion or former world champion needs to stay very active while his profile is high.

I am willing to allow for Bakhram's layoff having an impact but ultimately Tszyu made him look good by fighting to a poor game plan. He was very basic and ponderous last night and another reason why people shouldn't get carried away by a single KO performance.

I think some people just logon here to make boilerplate posts about scorecards a lot of the time. If you look back through their posting history you'd probably find they got carried away after Tszyu essentially showed Bakhram his chin.

Was a close fight but Kelly did enough. No controversy or conspiracy.
