He's been mismanaged. Taking all those step aside deals while Charlo sat on the belts was bad advice and then failing to capitalise on his KO win over Tszyu. I know there was an injury but even so, the Kelly deal took way too long to negotiate.

Now everybody else has an excuse for not fighting Murtazaliev.

Based on his plodding, unimaginative performance I don't think they have much to worry about.

So who did they beat in their division? Which big names [have they beat] to call themselves the best? So they haven’t…

“Ennis can fight with me anytime. My door is open for him and if he wants, he can fight. In the media, they talk that they want to fight the best and when it comes to the business they try to avoid the fight, or they put the amount of the money too high that it’s not affordable for the fight. So it’s basically – it’s about the money, the money and the business. My door is open to any fighter in the division.”

After performing almost too well against Tim Tszyu in 2024, Bakhram Murtazaliev has gotten nowhere near the leading names in the 154lbs division and has had to wait for a willing contender.
Don't care what he said. Unless I see public negotiations or talks between the two camps It means absolutely nothing to me. Ennis said he would fight any of them. I don't see you posting that. Murtazaliev would have been target practice for Ennis anyway. He's not even on his level.

Boots needs to get on and fight some of his divisional peers.

I see. So you’re saying Murtazaliev was lying, basically.

Having said that, Boots will knock him out for sure.
Someone explains how Kelly who did way more running and less punching than Scull vs Canelo got the win in a so called "brilliant" performance while Scull was trashed from the whole boxing community and did not got the nod on the judges scorecards.

Scull 293 (thrown) 55 (landed) vs Canelo 152 (thrown) 56 (landed) = UD Canelo
Kelly 202 (thrown) 75 (landed) vs Bakhram 444 (thrown) 93 (landed) = Kelly MD

Power punches landed Kelly 33 vs Bakhram 61

There is no way to spin this around boxing needs a change it doesn't matter how but hometown robberies are nothing to be proud of

I agree, would be nice if the rules preferred aggression more. But the stats you chose to show that Bakhram missed 80% of his punches.

                  Dude was clueless in there.

If it wasn't for that one punch landing in the 9th, there wouldn't be anything to speak of.

I think some people like being contrarian because they think it makes them seem more knowledgeable. Bakhram was slow and one dimensional, Tim flattered him by effectively showing him his chin. If Bakhram was the killer people claimed he should have cut off the ring and nailed Kelly easily.

Look dude, I know you're salty about this but you posted the below back in August. You were predicting a destructive KO and instead your guy plodded, failed to cut off the ring and was basic with his shot selection. Take the L.

Wouldn't bet on that one. Kelly will be punished so bad, the best thing what can happento him is a quick knockout the worst thing is a severe beating into retirement.
Kelly is so overrated people say Murta never faced anyone reality is he beat 2 guys that are way better than all of Kellys opponents and Kelly got smashed by a C level fighter and also got hurt bad by a D level fighter.

People crap on Uisma vs Ennis but reality is Uisma would also stop Kelly like every top 15 guy would.
