He is a really good fighter who is way overhyped. Has an all timer chin.

When a guy has the entire hispanic fanbase behind him assuring him of big sales and thus turning him into the "face of boxing".....if we are being honest, the sport really needed a star and so the entire sport lined up behind him to turn him into the myth.

He is very good. But yeah he lost to GGG clearly twice, lost to Lara, and yes, he beat some big names but they weren't anywhere near their prime. That said, in the modern state of boxing pretty much all fighters cherry pick, the belts are mostly meaningless. It isn't about being the best for alot of guys, it is about selling the image of being the best and carefully choosing the right guys at the right time.

Saul is a good fighter, not an all time great.
