Ref stoppages like this only hurt the UK. A number of boxers already don't want to fight here and I don't blame them.
      Couldn’t have said it better

Not the first time Foster has done this and it won’t be the last time
I cringe every time I hear he will be reffing a fight and actually expect an early stoppage
Funny enough , it seems to always be in favour of the British fighter

He should be investigated as this is NOT the fist time doing

Sometimes its just better to take a kneel and recover and fight on to win on the cards. I think people forget you can take a voluntary knee and just take the 10-8 round then to let the referee take away your career.

We seen people take a knee or a quick KD and come back and knocked out their opponent in the same round.

If Jermain Taylor or meldrick taylor would had taken a knee in their fights against Froch or Chavez they would had maybe won or draw.

Tank basically did that lol but he was never deducted the point.

If you're covering up on the ropes, not throwing back, in the 11th round of a slugfest, you're always going to be in danger of being stopped.
Especially when you just about survived the round before and got rocked 10 seconds into the next round.

Parker was done. Everyone with a brain cell can see it.

I hate that every bad decision is corruption to some people. But this is what boxing has done to itself. When your sport has inconsistent rules about judging, ref guidelines, sanctioning bodies regulations, and hometown heroes getting perceived advantages, you get controversy.

After watching it, I agree it was an early stoppage and that a standing 8 count was much more appropriate. But after seeing Parker get rocked, I do not see it as rising to the level of egregious. Just a bad ending to a basically decent HW fight with a lot on the line.

I think Joe Parker saying "we both went out there and gave it our best and he won so he’s a better man" is the final judgment. As for referee jumping in, they are there for a reason. Some people here seem to prefer the idea of Joseph being in a medically induced coma and having intravenous meals as opposed to taking a loss. Wtf?

He did hold earlier in the fight - so maybe his senses were scrambled enough that he couldn't hold - but also if you're busy dodging punches coming in every second you can't also be holding - there has to be just the slightest gap/pause in between punches to reach out and grab the opponent
