i literally made an entire thread on this and i proved pac was a bigger draw in ppv and in live gates when floyd made him that sh-it offer. im sure its still up here. if you look at the numbers pac was doing bigger numbers on average per fight if you compare their last whatever 15 ppvs(the total floyd had so far in his career) the fact that you cant see that was floyds way of getting out of the fight says everything about your rampant fandom. information i guess just doesnt matter to you.

why would pac accept 40 million no ppv for a fight that would make each guy 200 to 300 million? the way you frame things is so telling. in reality it was floyd who changed his own demands and moved the goalposts, for the third time! 14 days is ok...until pac agreed. 0 days is ok...until pac agreed. 50-50 is ok...until pac agreed its so silly to even pretend different it really is. just say yeah floyd avoided the fight but he would have won anyway or something impossible to prove. what you cant do is pretend floyd wanted the fight. the flat offer was floyd literally giving up and saying ya got me i was bluffing the whole time.

the strange thing is we now know floyds drug testing program was completely fraudulent and just a way for floyd to cheat by using tue's while preventing his opponent from cheating by denying them any tue's yet you are using this as a positive for floyd? obviously pac or any fighter should have been extremely hesitant to put themselves in such a compromising position but all that being said he still agreed, and floyd still changed his demands.

so how can you say it was the drug testing when floyd himself said that wasnt the issue? remember when floyd said pac had to accept 40 millino no ppv or no fight after pac accepted the testing? so yeah it wasnt the testing like you are trying to pretend. the testing wasnt legit which should matter? but i guess when you like someone a lot it doesnt? anything goes i suppose

I’ve said it before on here, and I’ll say it again:

I believe Floyd was/is the greatest businessman boxing has ever seen.

I think he is similar to Calzaghe in that I think at least part of his impressive unbeaten record is due to both fighting a combination of mid-level opponents and aging generational greats.

His unbeaten record (as is any unbeaten record) is still an admirable accomplishment in my opinion. But I have serious doubts he would have maintained it had he fought more high-level technicians with knockout power. Most of his opponents were either slow, lumbering punchers in the Mexican style or the David Lemieux variety, that he could either out box, or else they were aged and had taken heavy damage and still managed to give him some scary moments (SSM).

That said, I rate SRR, SRL, Hagler, Ali, Armstrong, Prime Roy, and possibly Hearns and Usyk higher than Floyd. That still leaves him in rarified air though.
