The energy is all wrong for Usyk, I can feel it in the air, Dubois is going to land a big shot and spark him.
I think DuBois has a chance but Usyk is just too good imo. I think Usyk will come in prepared as always.

Him selling the fight shouldn’t be mistaken for overconfidence imo.

My feeling is Dubois quits/gets stopped again. Massive credit to him if he pulls off the upset but I just can't sea it happening.

Remember he even got Fury to sign the photographs of him getting dropped by Usyk. He's shown that confident side since he beat Fury so it's not necessarily unusual behavior for him. Probably he doesn't see any major improvement from Dubois so he must assume it'll be a similar fight as the first. which he was clearly winning until Dubois dropped him that one time which could have ended the fight with a different ref. But apart from that moment Usyk was outboxing Dubois fairly easily and I guess he assumes it'll be a similarly easy fight for him. Now he might be right because styles make fights, but on the other hand if Dubois has improved and game-planned there's always a chance he can pull off the upset. It's improbable but definitely possible.

Just as a matter of accuracy. Fury was never actually dropped at all. Fury was well staggered in the the 9th during their first fight, caught by the ropes, and got a standing 8 count from referee Mark Nelson; but I don't recall him actually knocked down and he certainly recovered (he wasn't).
In fact, it was a slim 1 point fight on 2 of the 3 judges scorecards.
He was CONSTANTLY in more trouble than that in 2 of the 3 Deontay Wilder fights. Laid out.

I believe that like Ali and Frazier, those two hastened each others demise.
And, I don't see any suggestion, knowing an awful lot about fighter career trajectories, that Usyk ever saw the best of either Tyson Fury or Anthony Joshua.

I think AJ was probably more or less still in his prime. He was 32 at the time of the first fight. People do the whole "he was never the same after Ruiz" talk but he'd already shown plenty of vulnerabilities before that. I dont think a 2021 version of AJ was really any worse than a 2017 version.

Fury though? obviously a guy that abuses his body like he does and who "retired" for nearly 3 years at one point and ballooned up to like 350lbs is no ****ing way in his prime by the time of the Usyk fights.

One thing folks are not mentioning here is that Dubois is there to be hit. His defense hasn't really improved since the Usyk fight, I'm not even sure what exactly has he improved beyond being more confident, something that his trainer has mentioned a lot. Maybe his stamina is better too since they've cut down on the weightlifting.

Unless Usyk has deteriorated considerably, which is quite possible, I think this will go similarly to the first bout, perhaps a decision win instead of a stoppage. Dubois has the proverbial puncher's chance, of course, and it would be great to have a new champion. But don't bet on it.

Disagree...I have a feeling that Usyk is one of those guys destined to retire undefeated like Mayweather, Marciano etc. Also, apart from the questionable body shot, he DOMINATED Dubois for most of the first fight. Knocking out the average Miller, over the hill AJ and overrated Hrgovic doesn't suddenly make him a better or more dangerous fighter.

Also, let's not forget that Hrgovic landed 20 BOMBS flush on Dubois dome during their fight. If Usyk manages to land three or four of those he's going to sleep again!

Kidney bean head has a punchers chance that’s it. Yes he beat AJ last time out but I rewatched that fight last night and I had forgotten how much AJ sucks.

You literally just called Sanchez the boogieman and Kabayel knocked him out when Sanchez was undefeated. And he beat Chisora in 2017. Just admit you have no idea what you're talking about.

It's definitely a potential banana skin. Credit to Usyk to be honest for taking this fight with no hesitation. A lot of guys would be making excuses and saying "I already beat him" to avoid taking another fight as dangerous as this when they don't really need to. Dubois is the most dangerous puncher in the division right now. Joshua, Joshua, Dubois, Fury, Fury, Dubois is one hell of a resume.

The biggest factor for me in this rematch is that it's in England. Will the ref be lenient with Dubois and allow him to get away with punches straying low and coming in with the head? Stuff like that could throw Usyk off or maybe cause a cut from a head clash, etc. Dubois is actually a really dirty fighter if you pay attention, consistently so. Personally I think that's what Warren and Dubois' team are banking on as much as anything else.
