  • Wilder vs Chisora today who wins?

Both men are at the end of their careers, who wins in a fight between the two?

And who would have won prime for prime?

Chisora wins at any stage of their careers.

Wilders opponents in his prime were all pretty similar, either they were statues who stood in the middle of the ring, immobile, with a high guard and let him wing his right hand at them over and over again (because he usually misses it 9 times out of 10) until he took them out.

The other type was absoloutley feather fisted boxer types who possessed no danger and wilder could eventually counter and take out.

Chisora is neither of the above, he is a fast starting pressure fighter with good head movement and pretty good power, wilder lacks the boxing finesse to mess a guy like chisora around, he can be easily pushed back and is useless on the back foot.

I can just see wilder skittling back to the ropes leaning back with his chin high in the air and chisora bowls one of those big right hands over the top, BOSH

    Chisora ko inside 8

Another hypothetical. I never shy away.

It's a question for which we have insufficient data.
Both men have nearly completed very long and very opponent rich careers living in the top 10-15 for a decade.

It is highly unpredictable from fight to fight to know what percentage either will turn up with, at this very late stage. What is known, is that neither remains at their career best in 2025. That, is simply how nature works the aging process.

But Wilder shows more wear and tear, and hasn't been the same following his near stalemate trilogy with the 2015 - 2024 world champion Fury; a peerless fued that defined them both, and the era in which they fought.

Chisora, the afiable perennial contender between 2010 and today, was never in Wilder's league (in spite of the things seen through the lense of British hubris); but his staying power is amazing!
He'd earned a title shot in 2022 by defying the odds in beating fellow longstander Pulev, and three of the best wins of his career have come AFTER that failed title opportunity, in his last three fights!

He is the fresher man here.

I've been around the block in this business and hold my ideas firm. I rank Wilder as the no. 5 heavyweight of the 21st century, and rank Chisora no. 33, which is a wide disparity in talent and accomplishment for Del Boy to overcome, and prime to prime; I envision a decisive Wilder knockout.

But For today? Lets see how bad Wilder appears to look against Tyrrelll Herndon on the 27th.
I wasn't expecting much when Ali made his last stand against pedestrian Trevor Berbick, and I'm not expecting much more from a mid-2025 version of Wilder.

If Wilder is keen on continuing on to add more to his $40 million dollar estate, he should target fellow era king Joshua, whose chin and gumption are tailor made for Wilder; and even now, should Wilder appear able to pull the trigger on Herdon next weekend, we could anticipate a horizontal British heavyweight as the result of that big unfinished business.
Though I'm sure that E. Hearn is going to wait out a decision from Fury to the last, in Joshua's best interests.

Bordering on coin flip, perhaps a very slight edge to Wilder.

Wilder can't fight on the back foot, has no footwork to move and has no jab to stop Chisora plowing in.

              Easy work for Derek.

Chisora has always been a night mare for Wilder.

That is why I don't give a damn about Wilder's fake title.

If they fought 10 years ago, Chisora would have won also.

Wilder can't fight backing up. Most of wilders opponents just backed away and let him get leverage which is purposeful opponent selection by wilder. Chisora might get kod but probably kos Wilder first since his defense and chin were dog sh-it

Chisora. And he wins because he has more heart.
