I was shocked when the punch landed. I barely saw it live and then Huni was down. The camera seemed like it abruptly changed angles and they are announcing the fight is over.

I like both fighters, Wardley always comes across as a decent fella. He's not the most polished fighter but he can throw heavy leather with the best of them.

While Huni was putting on a boxing clinic throughout the fight, there was always that feeling that Wardley could spark him at any moment (especially knowing how susceptible Huni's chin seemed in the Llerena fight). Sure enough, Wardley cracked that chin like he needed to.

I have shamefully never witnessed Huni fight before until Wardley. I won't make that mistake again. Guy is good.

I’m sorry Fabio but if you carry on boxing it will be one brutal war after another until you call it a day. See, your skills are rudimentary, probably on a par with Johnny Fisher, but Fisher can’t remotely punch like you. The one thing that makes you above Fisher is you punch like one scary ass MoFo. As Hitmanjosh says, you really need to try and learn some skills to go with the raw power.

I'd like to see AJ vs Huni.

Both have suspect chins and can box. It'd be a good test for boths credibility.

              Impossible.

AJ don't lose to Samoan fighters. He whoops them.

It's just a fact though dude.

AJ's can't lose to the Uso's that's proven fact but let's be honest they can't really fight from those parts of the world so it's not a positive to AJ.

Huni just got polaxed by a white collar boxer for crying out loud.

It wasn't a lucky punch in the sense that Huni was always at risk whenever something decent landed on him. He's a good fighter with many great attributes but it appears his chin is a big weakness. Larena is essentially a big cruiser and he had Huni going badly.

That said wardley can't keep going to the well like that, he needs to sharpen up his fundamentals and defence because if nothing changes he is on a path to punishment regardless of what he achieves in his career.

Wardley is competitive with most HWs. Few have the footwork of Huni.
