Let's take a trip down memory lane, how would Floyd Mayweather Jr. have fared against these fighters had he not retired in 2007?

I wasn't much of a boxing fan in my teens so I didn't get a chance to see any of these fighters in their primes but how do you think Floyd Mayweather would have done against these other top welterweight at the time? Tapology says Mayweather retired in 2007 and then came back and fought Juan Manuel Marquez in 2009. I'm guessing that was a tuneup to shake off ring rust since Marquez was picked from the Lightweight division.

Could have made fights with all of those guys in their prime or more closer to itComment

You can't see the part at the Top of your link where it says from March 2009 edition of the magazine? So.... not June of 2008.
So again, more outright revisionist history.
Stick to what actually happened and refrain from making up fake narratives that didn't.Comment

How could Pacquaio have been ranked #5 at WW in June of 2008 when he hadn't even fought at WW then?

Meaning, in June of 2008, Pacquaio was not ranked #5 and was actually not ranked as he hadn't even fought there yet.
So, you lied. And the narrative you're attempting to push is incorrect.Comment
