I wasn't much of a boxing fan in my teens so I didn't get a chance to see any of these fighters in their primes but how do you think Floyd Mayweather would have done against these other top welterweight at the time? Tapology says Mayweather retired in 2007 and then came back and fought Juan Manuel Marquez in 2009. I'm guessing that was a tuneup to shake off ring rust since Marquez was picked from the Lightweight division.

in 2008 he retired with the guys i listed as the top guys all looking for fights & pac was listed as no5 WW and he went on to fight some of them, thats what i saw

Meaning, in June of 2008, Pacquaio was not ranked #5 and was actually not ranked as he hadn't even fought there yet.

So, you lied. And the narrative you're attempting to push is incorrect.
