Well, apparently according to that poster his retirement was June 2008-March 2009 so it's now 9 months and not two years.

Meaning, in June of 2008, Pacquaio was not ranked #5 and was actually not ranked as he hadn't even fought there yet.

So, you lied. And the narrative you're attempting to push is incorrect.
As selected by The Ring magazine in the March 2009 issue.

thats what it says but that doesnt mean the rankings are not from 2008, the heading clearly says the rankings are from 2008

the narrative is not incorrect, floyd was inactive in 2008 and most of 2009 when the guys listed were the top WW in the division, floyd was not there fighting them and pac came along into that mix instead, the mix that floyd bailed out of for 2008 and 2009, thats what it is

It LITERALLY means that the rankings are not from 2008, and are specifically from the March 2009 edition of The Ring Magazine.

Those are the "end of year" rankings, which is also clearly stated.

Meaning in June of 2008, when you claim is when Floyd retired when "Pac was on the rise", Pacquaio was NOT ranked at WW, because, newsflash, he hadn't even fought there.

Does this need explaining across more than one post, seriously? He hadn't fought at WW yet so HOW can he be ranked at WW without having a fight there?

He was not ranked at that time. That's an objective fact.

So what are you talking about?

                    It's literally incorrect.

Firstly you lied and said that Floyd fought no Top WW's by 2007 which is factually incorrect.

You then lied and said that he "retired funny enough when Pac was on the rise" when Pacquaio hadn't even had a fight at WW by that point and then made his return annoucment on March of 2009 which is quite literally smack **** in the middle of his WW "rise".

So, yes, they are totally incorrect.

are u saying that the listed guys cheato, cotto and mosley were not the top WW's in 2008 and 2009? and that paul williams did not want to fight floyd at this time also?

they were the top WW for those years and floyd fought zero WW during this time
