No announcement yet.
Let's take a trip down memory lane, how would Floyd Mayweather Jr. have fared against these fighters had he not retired in 2007?

Ok as it seems you didn't read what I said, those rankings are from the March 2009 edition of The Ring Magazine.
Meaning, in June of 2008, Pacquaio was not ranked #5 and was actually not ranked as he hadn't even fought there yet.
So, you lied. And the narrative you're attempting to push is incorrect.
thats what it says but that doesnt mean the rankings are not from 2008, the heading clearly says the rankings are from 2008

Those are the "end of year" rankings, which is also clearly stated.
Meaning in June of 2008, when you claim is when Floyd retired when "Pac was on the rise", Pacquaio was NOT ranked at WW, because, newsflash, he hadn't even fought there.
Does this need explaining across more than one post, seriously? He hadn't fought at WW yet so HOW can he be ranked at WW without having a fight there?
He was not ranked at that time. That's an objective fact.Last edited by IronDanHamza; 06-05-2025, 06:23 PM.

Firstly you lied and said that Floyd fought no Top WW's by 2007 which is factually incorrect.
You then lied and said that he "retired funny enough when Pac was on the rise" when Pacquaio hadn't even had a fight at WW by that point and then made his return annoucment on March of 2009 which is quite literally smack **** in the middle of his WW "rise".
So, yes, they are totally incorrect.
