Let's take a trip down memory lane, how would Floyd Mayweather Jr. have fared against these fighters had he not retired in 2007?

    Erm, no, it's not

The thread is about Floyd retiring in 2007, and how he would have fared against the "Top WW's at the time" (from the picture) which is a picture taken from 2007.

You've just changed it to 2008 and 2009 for no reason.

This is roughly now the 5th or 6th false narrative you've attempted to push in this thread It's comical.

Tapology says Mayweather retired in 2007 and then came back and fought Juan Manuel Marquez in 2009. I'm guessing that was a tuneup to shake off ring rust since Marquez was picked from the Lightweight division.

      May > them all
Margarito and Kermit being the easiest
Paul would have posed the more difficult of the bunch
SRL looked like a Smurf next to Tommy
May would have looked even shorter vs Paul.

Floyd beats all of them easily. Remember, cotto was in the audience scouting mayweather when he fought gatti. Arum was trying to make that fight but cotto team said they weren't ready yet.

          Loses to Margarito

Floyd avoided tall fighters who are aggressive after that split decision with Oscar.
          YDKSAB.

Cotto's own team said they weren't ready for floyd.

Paul Williams would look like a robot against floyd.

Mosley would be his toughest match but he still gets pieced up.

He would make Margarito look like the baldomir fight or even worse.

they were the top 3 because he beat 2 of the old top 3 and became number 1 himself.

do you understand how this works?
