damn, probably has to retire now as the jap commision are very strict on these kind of things. that being said, never saw what was so special about these 2 brothers, both have lost to the same guys (who are not elite level by any margin) twice now. we had a few people on the forum who said they were the next best thing and they will continue what inoue has started

It didn't look good from the beginning. After the fight, the signs were ominous.

Sending the kid again in a ring with the same opponent that had beaten him up last year, causing a fractured orbital bone in the process, is nothing short of criminal. Shigeoka's handlers should be ashamed of themselves for allowing this to happen.

Now let's hope that Ginjiro can at the very least survive, and lead a regular life. Sort of.

Saw it live when he collapsed during at the end of the fight, no oxygen or any type of medical attendance he had to leave the ring carried by his corner...very very sad situation .

How could they even let this guy back in the ring 9 months after he almost died against the same opponent fighting for the same belt?

And how on earth did they not respond faster when it was obvious Shigeoka was in real trouble? Where was the oxygen mask? Why did it take so long to get medical attention into the ring? Why did it take so long to get him onto the stretcher? What on earth were they doing trying to pass his limp body over the ropes?

When Anaguchi died after his fight with Tsutsumi the same crap happened. You could literally see the kid dying right there in the ring and nobody seemed to know what they were supposed to be doing.

There is no excuse for this.

That young man is lucky to be alive. After the first brutal fight, it was unlikely that he'd somehow come back stronger. Take care, young warrior.

Some people just have too much pride. They think a pro beating can be fixed by running around the block a few extra times. Their faith is based on prejudice, as if their guy is a superman just because he is one of them. Not just Japanese, fanatics everywhere.
