  • Why do people still challenge AJ more than Wilder ?

Wilder has gotten beaten down 2 times in a row and yet no one calls him out to Box. AJ only lost once recently and you got guys like Jake Paul and other contenders calling him out to Box ? I don’t understand why AJ is more skilled and may not punch as hard as Wilder but his power isn’t far. Why is AJ challenged more ?

Bigger money from UK fans and their love affair with "A.J.". Plus, he's lost several times within his prime years, and Wilder never lost in his prime years to anyone he couldn't fight to a draw with.

Because, while AJ also loses and gets knocked out and has been exposed, the fans in England will buy anything.

So there is still money in fighting him.

What is it with this weird bitterness over UK fans actually supporting boxing on a commercial level? it comes across like sour g****s.

And stuff like AJ vs Dubois and Usyk is not "anything", those are major HW fights and completely worthy of attention. Stuff like the Helenius and Franklin fights took place in smaller arenas too. If only they were more discerning like American fans and showed up for **** like Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson I guess....

Wilder spent his "prime years" fighting guys like Szpilka and Duhaupas while AJ was fighting Wlad and Parker in his 20s.

AJ is still the money fight for everybody. Wilder is not.

Honestly no one really had high expectations of Wilder, they just wanted to see how far that right hand would take him. AJ is the one with higher expectations of him, he had the gold medal and supposed to be the face of English boxing.

Wilder was never a big money draw. People say that Deontay originally picked Fury because he was away for three years drinking, eating and drugging, which is true. But the other reason is so he could finally get a big payday. AJ has always been a big draw and will be such until he retires.

Wilder is coming off knockouts and has lost his aura of invincibility. With that he lost his drawing power.

AJ is coming off knockout losses but people in the UK still believe the hype.

                    Good for them I guess?
