Let's just say "if" it happened, I assume the establishment would just push for yet another wearisome trilogy. Shouldve been Parker or Kabayel at this point.

Like most online spaces, this forum is mostly a self-selecting group of angry male imbeciles. I don't take the opinions of such people seriously at all.

The fans in attendance and most of the general public will be hugely impressed if Dubois wins.

Possibly, although they are #2 and #3 below Dubois in the TBRB rankings.

Question is, now that they know at least one of them is going to miss out, are they going to sit on those 'interim' baubles and wait for the email belt or step up and fight each other?

He threw a few low blows in the first fight, I think the actual shot that put Usyk down was borderline but because of his previous low punches the ref immediately called it low. Dubois might think a body attack is his best shot at winning, get frustrated during the fight and go out Golota style.

Boxing fans are certainly fair weather friends to the fighters. Certainly, the Man who comes in second will be ridiculed hard. Its how it works.

But for the moment at least; Dubois is the man blocking Parker and Kabayel from their own well earned title opportunities; and Usyk is this season's G.O.A.T.

We'll see if anything in the ring changes any of that.

Dubois maybe knocked Usyk out in the first fight by a body shot.

Kabayel would do it much better.

It's heavyweight boxing. Dubois certainly has a puncher's chance. This forum in particular has had a VERY hard time giving Usyk credit, and will certainly flip on him if he loses, just as they do with any fighter.

Unless he splatters Usyk who then calls it quits, I'd say hold tight for the trilogy and see if he can do it again before passing judgement.

I guess that Dubois will get tons of credit should he upset the odds and win. But Usyk, who people within this moment compare to Ali, will be jettisoned by the fickle fanbase if he loses.
