When the guaranteed purse for every fighter at the LA card that Turki put together was disclosed, it was pretty easy to do the math and figure out how much over market value Turki was paying. Although he is paying more than what promoters are willing to pay, he isn't paying these outrageous amounts that some folks think..

I happen to conduct business with an Arab man many years ago and as you said, their way of conducting business was "less ethical" than the American way I was used to. I don't want to say that they're all the same, because I've only dealt with one, but I didn't like it too much...

But the thing is we just saw this in 2018 with Dazn. They came to the US with billions and thought they were going to take all the fighters. They only got a handful. Even tho they paid them well they eventually let them go because they never made a profit. All those clowns who just 5 years ago were trying to convince us that Dazn was going to takeover have completely abandoned them. Now they have been on the Turki train for the last 12 months. Pretty soon they are going to be sucking white (Dana) balls and telling us to follow TKO and not PBC!

Egghead won't survive 18 months in boxing. This ain't MMA and most boxers are not quite as dumb as MMA fighters.

It's possible, but if a tank fight isn't imminent, he'll have no choice but to accept the purse bid.

With Tank rematching Roach in June, Shakur more than likely will have to settle for a Zepeda purse bid. I think Oscar will purposely bid low just so Shakur will turn down the fight due to the low offer. Keeps Zepeda from fighting Shakur and making it appear that Shakur is the one avoiding the fight.
