You honestly think Madrimov's latest opposition could beat Berlanga? Munguia? Or even Scull???...
-
Ryan already moved up to 147, he fought for a title and lost.
Devin fought Ramirez at a catchweight of 144.
Teo is a title holder at 140 and a small 140 at that.
Boots beats all 3 though, Boots should have accepted Turki's offer to fight Ortiz 4 month ago, but...brankobugarski likes this.

Yeah, I gave Boots a pass for turning down the big offer Turki made for Boots to fight Vergil 4 months ago, considering Boots claimed he wanted to collect all the belts at 147. Boots should have fought Vergil during Riyadh, we would have been treated to a good fight and Madrimov would have fought Bohachuk...

Hospital bed? Crying buckets? Bam?? Did the guy die or something? You sure know a lot of details and are comfortable enough to call him Bam, you must be pretty close to one or the other, possibly both.
I've never heard of Hassan Campbell, but it's all good though, I'll take your word for...

I was gonna ask the same thing. I heard Oscar say something about that, but no one else......

Who's in charge of hiring the nutritionist? Is it Munguia? His trainer? His Manager? His promoter??
Definitely ridiculous to blame Canelo, unless Canelo recommended him.....Last edited by LarryMerchant'sBottle; 06-17-2025, 10:01 PM.

The word on the streets of Tijuana is that the green salsa on the tacos were contaminated, not the meat itself. Per Munguia's IG, he's presenting a half eaten taco with the salsa to present to the commission as his evidence......Smash likes this.

lol...
It was a close fight that could have gone either way in my opinion. I used to have a black box back in the day and would host fight parties all the time.....

Mosley had it all in my opinion. I liked the father and son team and thought they were good humble people. Some of today's father and son teams could learn a lot from them......

From what Eddie and Norman pops stated. Eddie felt his offer of $1.7 million was all be could offer to not lose money on the fight and pops wanted $500k more because the fight was gonna be held in Boots' hometown with hometown officials. Pops said he would accept less if the fight was held in Vegas,...

The Japanese pay good money so their boxing stars fight in Japan, that's no secret. Norman Jr is an American title holder so I wouldn't doubt that the guy is making at least a million. I've heard a higher number than a million, but a million sound logical to me. Rumor has it that if he beats Sasaki...

I think pops asked for $2.2 but was willing to negotiate. Eddie didn't want to negotiate at all....

Bro, I was a big fan of Afrika Bambaataa's music when I pop locked back in 82. I found out about his shenanigans with boys about a year ago and I was highly disappointed.......nghtmr111 likes this.

Not necessarily, that would only encourage Devin, Scull and the likes to continue fighting the way they fought last May. That fighting strategy is what turned Turki and the Saudi's off in the first place....CPNUTKnockoutFreshMart likes this.

Sounds like DLS would have loved that extra $400k, but wasn't given the option by both promoter and trainer........
