The USA is not REALLY one country, the individual states are like countries, it's a vast continental sized group of "states" many of which are bigger and more populated than many European countries.

Well the EU has its own flag and currency and is made up of many European nations. So... they are acting that way. Mostly they decide things in a non nation sense, relying on the mass of the EU to carry weight.

As such they are on one nation, not several. Germany is the real power and acts most like its own naiton.

You actually raise an interesting philosophical question. Poorer nations have less obesity for obvious reasons and also tend to be more culturally conservative.

The idea of a Third World adult film star is ludicrous, that kind of thing can only exist in wealthy, decadent nations.

The high cost of food nowadays is solving obesity problem in America. I see people on Tiktok complaining why even eating fast food costs too damn much.

I don't believe that's true - there's loads of angles to hit but there not being interviewed enough.

If you look at the origin countries of every major belt holder, everybody in the TBRB top 10, and everybody in the Ring top 10 there are some obvious clues as to what is happening.

Americans, by and large, dominate those categories from 126-168. 122 and below, not many Americans. 175 and up, again, not many Americans.

The upper weight classes are easier to explain. It's MLB, NBA, NFL, and NHL. All those leagues have average weights over 200 pounds. Quality American athletes of that size are simply being funneled into more popular sports.

As for the lower weights, I think there's just much more competition there in Asian and Latino countries. Especially Japan and Mexico.

This site has recently made a concerted effort to interview every minor British boxer they can find. While neglecting even the major American and Mexican fighters by comparison.

The bias is obvious. It’s almost like they’re deliberately trying to kill US boxing.

That’s why I’m glad an American just starched a Japanese fighter. That ought to be a reality check for some.
