Confidence is a crucial part of any top fighter's make-up. It affects how they handle themselves around others and how they approach various situations. It also affects how others approach them.

Looks like Frank's going to ignore the more prestigious traditional route of English, British, Commonwealth & European & take Moses down the alphabet international/inter- continental alphabet road.

Is anyone else getting the “too much too soon” vibe from this one? Or maybe it’s just because of what happened with Bakole-Anderson…

Critical difference there is that Moses likes boxing and wants to be champ, and Anderson hates boxing and wants to retire. Desire plays a considerable role once you get to a certain level.

Of course, McKean is no Bakole; but he is a live body - A first for Moses.

Very true. If he gets past McKean, maybe Itauma vs Anderson would make sense, come to think of it.

Perhaps but I think that McKean isn't "too much too soon". McKean's stock rose by almost going 12 with Hrgovic but Filip didn't look that impressive that fight. Demsey's best win is a late rounds stoppage of Johnny Rice. Bakole was a monster before the Anderson fight, I thought Anderson was insane to take that one. I dont get the same vibe from this one...but who knows.

They will never put Anderson vs Itauma. Anderson has no chance

I think Itanuma is more resistant than Anderson, but Itauma will have a good test of his power.

Bob Arum said his matchmakers & him didn’t want that fight but the money offered was too much for Anderson to pass up. I’d have to look it up but I think it was Saudi money. Anderson got some lawyers to pay so maybe he just took the money for that very reason. I’m just speculating on that. At the time I think I picked Anderson to win. Thought he might be motivated since he got another chance to fight before a possible jail sentence. I was wrong. This young 19 year old sounds like he is level headed & he is a big dude for 19. I guess we shall see if McKean is a level above this kid or not. Sounds like a big step up but after how badly Dubois smashed Hrgovic I not sure how good McKean is.
