I like Tim, he takes on all comers like the old schools used to. He doesn't make excuses, he's respectful, humble in defeat and his fights are exciting. Having said that, he showed no real boxing skills tonight, I mean he landed a few good punches here and there but no bobbing nor weaving to slip punches. If he decides to step back in the ring, he's gonna need a new trainer to teach him the art of the sport. There was not much of a game plan tonight and at this weight, when fighting a taller fighter with a longer reach, you've got to be able to do more than just try and knock out your opponent.

Tim should learn from Barrera's career. MAB was able to change his style after losing twice to Jr Jones, the first fight by KO and the second by decision. MAB took some time off and became a boxer puncher after being just a come forward fighter. Having changed his style he came back and delivered some epic fights and became one of Mexico's greats.

Come on Tim, you've got the right attitude for the sport. I'm hoping you can make the right changes and give us a few more exciting winnable fights.

Barrera was 23 and yet already much more accomplished than Timmy. He might just be a Chavez jr. Chavez Jr beat Andy lee, not bad.

Gotta give Tim credit for being honest. They asked him in the post fight what he thought went wrong. He said, "I don't really recall much of it to be honest."

Mur said in post fight that he himself thought Tszyu was unaware of what was really going on. He said he gave Tim a lot of credit for fighting like a man.

But it was pretty clear that Tim was basically concussed from the first knock down onward. He looked and fought like a crazy person.

I just don’t see it. Tim looked lost right from the outset getting peppered by jabs. Last few rounds Bakhram couldn’t miss with the left hook combo that would start with an overhand right. Over and over he would throw the combo and Tim just could not do anything! Some fighters have ability but the IQ is not there.

I don't think Barrera was much more accomplished by the time he lost to Jr. Jones, but you're correct about the age difference.

You know that seems like a great fairytale comeback story, but I and I'm sure most others would agree, just can't see that happening. Tim has a very hard head and doesn't look like he takes constructive criticism well and doesn't change gameplans well as evidence by the Fundora fight and this fight were he had zero plan B and it also looks like he never heard of a plan C.

He also isn't as young as Barrera (22) to change his style so drastically. Barrera had a much higher ring/boxing IQ; as well as a much more level head while fighting (Tim definitely doesn't have a level head) Barrera is by far leaps and bounds much more disciplined as a fighter and a overall far better fighter with an amazing amateur background (56-0 before his first loss as an amateur), easily had higher level coaching and a higher level corner in order to do that type of transformation which is rarely seen and only done by few elites of the fight game.

Tim, as much as I like his all guts attitude in the ring just doesn't have that type of mentality or ring/boxing IQ; he came from a fighting dad who wasn't a boxer puncher and was more of a slugger. Tim has to have a strong will to change his fighting style at the age of 29 which I just don't see happening. He also has the, I do things my way or it wont happen mentality and it was shown with his response to Turki Alalshikh's offer.

It will be a long road back for Tim that's for sure. I could be wrong but I'm sure the statistical probabilities of your wish are just not that high. I'm sure he can have some more cool fights with Ortiz and some others like Fundora, Spence(if he fights again) etc.

Damn, I like Tsyu’s attitude & expected him to be a level above but nicely done by Murt. In hindsight, too bad he decided to take step aside $ & undercard spots for years. Must have been well compensated, he looks way better than Charlo. Not seeing the same vocal posters from the “lollipop” thread. Tszyu got worked at the Orlando Caribe Ballroom with $1 tickets via Facebook, but kudos for loyalty

After this fight Bakhram has asserted him self as a serious player at 154 lbs. I must say when I watched a few of his fighter in the last few days, I was a bit scared for Tim because Bakhram seemed very fast and strong and thought that Tim should box Mutrazaliev for the first six rounds and then pour it on at the end. Unfortunately he chose to lead with his chin and overpower someone who is clearly stronger than himself, with a bigger punch and someone who can also take a punch.

I am not sure where Tim is at the moment. He showed some very serious deficiencies tonight which means he cannot be competitive at the highest level. I am not sure that he will ever be competitive at that level. The flaw are too serious. He is now probably in line to do what Madrimov and Bohachuk are doing - fighting contenders because the champions will be tied up for a while fighting each other for all the marbles.
