We are now saying a war in Yemen and half a million have perished so far.
We invaded Vietnam. We waged a proxy war against Iran from 1980-1988 with over a million dead.

Here are 10 conflicts we’ve caused over the years. I’m guessing you believe it’s about enforcing democracy and “protecting our interests”?

He is talking about religion and religion ONLY. Pay attention. America’s wars/global interests/ally alignments has nothing to do with any religious component. Nil/Nada/zilch. OTOH the “religion of peace” wars have everything to do with their religious beliefs and holy book. These are facts.

You have this habit every time jumping onto an anti American ban wagon. Even trying to mesh topics of no bearing to make America look poorly. Why are you even here. Never mind, your screen name says it all. Between Oregon and Cali it’s a neck and neck race to see who is more of a leftie. Quoting the terror rag aljazeera is akin to a leftie quoting MSLSD. You despise America, you hate it here. You’re part of the blame America first crowd.

    • Bivol boxed well for 2min in swing rounds but I was afraid Beterbiev was stealing them by pushing him back with hard shots up to the bell. They were close rounds but judges like agression. I think the cards were all justified. I’d be more crying foul if they were exactly reversed in Bivol’s favour, and I picked him to win. He, himself said he wasn’t busy enough and I agree.
      ps. Hearn’s a twit

      • Wow! Yes! That was a great fight! It delivered as one the best fights of our generation! It was ultra competitive. Dmitry Bivol did enough to win! Artur Beterbiev also did enough to win! It was a fight that could have been a draw.

Great win for Artur Beterbiev and congratulations to him on becoming the Undisputed Light Heavyweight Champion of the World!

However, this is the first time that I have read a number of comments saying - I picked Beterbiev to win, I am Canadian, I am a Beterbiev fan BUT I think he lost and Bivol got robbed. Perhaps I am wrong but I have never seen so many fans (in a close fight) openly admitting their favorite fighter lost. By the way I have not read a single comment saying I am a Bivol fan but I thought he lost, he should have done more.
I didn’t have a horse in the race. I was expecting a hotly contested, highly entertaining and crowd pleasing fight. However, it was not even close.

What we got was a dominating performance by Dmitry Bivol. Yes, while Beterbiev was the aggressor and yet he was not the effective aggressor.

Not once did he ever cut off the ring. Bivol was catching him flush each and every time he decided to open up and unleash his combination punches on him.

He even snapped Artur’s head back on multiple occasions with his combination punches.. Beterbiev’s punches were largely blocked, parried or were glancing shots.

Not once did Beterbiev ever had Bivol in danger of getting stopped. I thought Beterbiev would slowly break him down and eventually knock him out but I was wrong.

Dmitry won this fight hands down. The fix was in. Even Timothy Bradley had been instructed to put his pom poms down praising Bivol.

It’s because Artur Beterbiev was the house fighter. He is affiliated with both ESPN and Top Rank.

Yes possibly dodgy but it could be partly to do with the nature of the fans Beterbiev attracts. Beterbiev always KOs his opponents and is unbeaten. This style attracts lightweight fans (non boxing fans) who love KOs. But they can't then appreciate Beterbiev's efforts against a much better opponent who doesn't fold as easily

I remember first time KO-artist Wilder lost - all these Wilder fans suddenly stopped being a fan - as if him winning was somehow connected with their self-worth.

Also worth mentioning here is Beterbiev is, still doing surprisingly well at 40... hmmmm

I’m Canadian, watched Beterbiev’s path of destruction here in Quebec for years before he was a known commodity outside. I am a longtime fan of the sport, not boxers. I picked Bivol to win on points, but feel the right man got his arm raised. See above…

If Bivol had not given up the last two rounds he’d have WON a split.

But i did watch the damn fight. It was not what i expected it was a good fight but not one for the ages, i will not be re-watching it thru the years is what i am saying. Not taking anything away from the performances of either fighter. I was disappointed that Better did not do better in his campaign inside the ring, like rattle Bivol with punches that wobbled his knee's and made him give up his fight plan. That never happened, sure Bivol felt his power but not in the degree of running from the fight or his fight plan. Bivol implemented his game plan did not allow Better to fight the fight that could have given him 21 K. O.'s in perfection. Edge goes to Bivol there. Accuracy goes to Bivol too. Bivol never ran he just boxed and boxed in a good fight. I picked Better to win and he did not win in my eye's. More important now is to watch both fighters as they come back to whatever next fight they choose. Prediction is Better is not the same fighter he was two years ago, Bivol will have benifited more from this fight then Better will. I believe Better labored more in the fight then Bivol did, Bivol made it his kind of fight and Better did not........ Anyhow nice to be excited for a fight and not be disappointed but a fight for the ages ? Naw............
It doesn’t even matter your fighter got his ass kicked again, on to your next loss MF’er!

I was screaming at the screen for him to sig deep in the championship rounds so as to keep my prediction record intact. He didn’t and he lost a close decision. I couldn’t justify more than the draw for him. He needed thise rounds.
