Betting on boxing is always risky but this was not a robbery. Could it have gone Bivol's way or a draw? It is what it is. I'll lick my wounds and maybe bet the Mets over the dodgers.

BUT i think decision was unfair and Bivol should have won. That doesn’t make it a home cooking because he was a ****** referring to your usual BS. He was on backfoot most of the fight and looking at both fighters one was in a MUCH worse condition and it wasn’t Beterbiev. Still wrong - i can call it as it is.

However if a 40 year old Beterbiev who had recent surgery for a jaw infection beat this prime version or 33 yr old Bivol, what do you think a prime Beterbiev would have done?

Bivol was on the back pedal 80% of the fight managing the ring and avoiding the ropes... Fair play to him but doing that he let Artur out-punched him and allowed him to be the aggressor... Close fight but I don't think Artur has to blemish... Let's do this again...

I didn't see the fight but I'm glad out the outcome. Now hopefully Artur will do the right thing and move up to cruiser and free up the belts so the Davids and the other LHWs can go at it. Also Canelo should move up to 175 and let Jermall, Caleb, Berlanga, Munguia, Andrade and all the other 168s go at it!
