'Some 20 years ago a gym owner who worked with many professional athletes told me this - ALL athletes that he worked with or that he knew were on PEDs. He told me that it is impossible to be competitive if you are not taking something illegal. He said you cannot go to the Olympic games and reach the final of anything if you are not on PEDs. The gains that athletes are getting from PEDs are so huge that it makes everybody else who is not taking it completely noncompetitive. I am not saying I have intimate knowledge in this area. I am just saying that people in the know claim that EVERYBODY is on it now days'.
Since then we have had VADA, which may not be of any use but does require more deliberate evasion of testing. Also, surely, it depends on the 'athletes'. I don't think most Olympic fencers, archers or equestrians are on PEDs. Are the top guys in the 100m on PEDs? You would have to be naive to think those MoFos are clean! So, bring it back, specifically, to boxing. Do you think most boxers are on PEDs? If so, which ones?

Certainly Haney consented to the match knowing Garcia was out of compliance. Does this extend to the drug test? I guess one of the issues is what's a nonverbal contract made that included any non-compliance? Interesting to see frankly.
