Flo Jo (RIP) -
"Before the 1988 track and field season, her best time in the 100-meter sprint was 10.96 seconds (set in 1987). In 1988, she improved that by 0.47 seconds. Her best before 1988 at 200 meters was 21.96 seconds (also set in 1987). In 1988, she improved that by 0.62 seconds to 21.34 seconds, another time that has not been approached. On September 21, 1998, Griffith Joyner died in her sleep at home in the Canyon Crest neighborhood of Mission Viejo, California, at the age of 38. The unexpected death was investigated by the Orange County Sheriff-Coroner's office, which announced on September 22 that the cause of death was suffocation during a severe epileptic seizure. The only drugs in her system when she died were small amounts of two common over-the-counter drugs, acetaminophen and the antihistamineBenadryl."

What was the deadliest soccer match in history?
"As of 24 October 2022, 135 people had lost their lives, and 583 others were injured. The disaster is the second deadliest in the history of association football worldwide, after the 1964 Estadio Nacional disaster in Peru which killed 328 people."

Hey, Google......
"Do Mr. Olympia champs take steroids?" -
Olympia champions have come clean about using drugs throughout the years. As a result, steroid usage in Mr. Olympia's competitions has consistently raised concerns (). However, IFBB, the organization that oversees the competition, has regularly denied the usage of steroids in the competition.

So.......the champs are lying?!?!?!?
Professional bodybuilders is the one profession where roid usage would be prevalent, so..............let's take a peek
"Premature Death in Bodybuilders: What Do We Know?"
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC9885939/
"A wealth of research has revealed elite athletes typically enjoy lower mortality rates than non-athletes, but research on bodybuilder lifespan is surprisingly limited."
"Flo Jo, doe..............."
From a report at the time : The circumstances of Griffith Joyner's death yesterday morning at age 38 are still sketchy. Reportedly plagued by heart trouble in recent years, she died in her sleep at home in Mission Viejo (Orange County)
and " NFL lineman Steve Courson wrote a book several years ago about how steroids enlarged his heart to the point that it couldn't pump normally. He needed a heart transplant."
BUT forgetting about health implications - FloJos sprint records in the 1980s have never been beaten. Goes to show how much PEDs raise your performance. You only have to look at the East German and CHinese women's records. In boxing this is dangerous.
In 1993, the Chinese women’s track team ran crazy; they set insane world records, times so fast, over such a range of distances with almost no recovery in between that, well, they were widely believed to be dirty. The women themselves admitted doping in 1995, but we’re just seeing the evidence now.
“To run a 29:30 10K, that means you have to put two 14:45 5Ks back to back,” said Jennings, whose American record is 31:19.89. “Only one woman, (Ireland’s) Sonia O’Sullivan, has run one 5K that fast this year. So this young Chinese woman ran a 14:45 5K, and then she ran another one. I believe that something is wrong.”

Also when Wang broke the 10K record in 1993 - she ran the 5K portions faster than almost any other female 5K runner!!!!!!!!!

The truth about Arnold Schwarzenegger's health issues
https://www.nickiswift.com/267106/th...health-issues/
The only bit you need to concern yourself with is this -
"The retired professional bodybuilder was born with a heart defect called aortic stenosis, per HCA Healthcare."
Roids seem to mess with users differently (still waiting for a roiding boxer to really hurt someone :lol1 !!!!)
"Forgetting health implications (right, those sketchy ones....according to no one else but you)/"
You keep bringing up these isolated instances that doesn't help your case !!!
One would think hearts transplants and people dying in their sleep unexpectedly would be NORMAL among roiders :lol1 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Less than a full second time increase lol1: !!!!!!!
Stop crying
Bring me scientific facts to say roids are UNEQUIVICALLY bad for boxers OPPONENTS health
IDGAF about any other sport or profession
Credit for not running away from that post doe
Much to my delight

We both know you cant, because your evidence is basically the same as "my grandfather lived to 100 and he smoked for 40 years of his life". Which is true in my case btw - and I'm sure could find 50,000 more grandfathers in my country who did the same.... WHICH MUST MEAN smoking is not harmful! OMG!!!! I HAVE CHANGED SCIENCE!!!
Roids increase performance, muscle nuclei, stamina and hitting power. If you can't see how that puts boxers lives and health in danger - I can't help you.

2) Show me how roids harms a BOXER
3) How many 100 year old roid users will it take to wake you bums up ?
I'm glad you're a glutton for punishment

Smokers who start young
"Smokers who start smoking before age 15 have an average life expectancy of 34.6 years. Smokers who start smoking between the ages of 15 and 19 have an average life expectancy of 36.0 years."
90% of my friends and family who smokes started around their early teens.
Still alive and well and still smoking.
Very active
Their parents, who are smokers, are still alive and active.
My friends father is a hands on owner of a construction company.
He's in his mid 80s.
Where are all of these smokers waiting around to die ?!?!?
No. Smoking is not good for you.
It's not a death sentence either !
If you don't plan on doing marathons or the like, have at it.

What is the death rate for steroids?
"During a mean follow-up of 11 years, 2.8% of AAS users and 1% of controls died, for a hazard ratio of 2.8 — a significant difference. In AAS users, HRs were 3.6 for unnatural deaths (i.e., accidents, violent crimes, or suicide) and 2.2 for natural deaths (e.g., cancer, cardiovascular-related deaths)."

"How many professional boxers have died due to steroid use ?"
According to a review of published case reports, 19 deaths were linked to anabolic steroid use in professional boxing between 1990 and 2012 (Less than 1 per year and even lower due to the uncertainty of usage. Too much Sun, air, food or water will kill a person). However, it's difficult to determine that steroid use was the cause of these deaths because many steroid users also used other drugs.
1 person out of 100,000s will act out due to Hollywood violence
