They dont want Dubois to be champ. Hes not "supposed to" be champ. Hes not marketable, he doesnt have charisma.

You seen the ref ignore a blatant knockdown right in front of him right? both gloves on the canvas with the ref far enough away it was in clear view and he ignored it to help Joshua.
The ref was already acting weird the first round giving DDD a warning for putting the fire up close to AJ before the KD.

What Dubois did last night was far more fierce than anything Tyson did. This version of Dubois knocks out prime Mike Tyson with Cousin Tomato in his corner in 2 Rounds, if not 1. Holyfield gets splattered in 2 or 3, and Lewis gets knocked down (and out, he never rises, does he?) inside 4 rounds.

Dubois > Berbick so you might have a point here. Could have been closer then you’d think, Tyson never liked opponents fighting back.

The referee had very clearly been given his pre-fight directions about stopping Dubois following his jab with his head (which he does do, to be fair).

But I don't think letting Joshua take that punishment on the ropes actually favoured him. It was just a bad mistake by a referee who lost the plot a bit in there.

OP obviously trolling but, is it just me or does Dubious sort of resemble the way tyson fights with his stance, the way he walks and throws punches and hooks? I noticed it the first time I saw highlights of him years ago.

Anyone noticed that AJ's limbs move more quickly after he's knocked out than when he's boxing?
