So why can Canelo fight Mungia and Berlanga 2 DAZN fighters, but Tank can't fight Shakur, now a DAZN (matchroom) fighter.
Didn't Al Hayman want to make a bunch of crappy fights on PPV?(Thurman PPV vs Barrios and King Kong Ortiz PPV) Vs
great match ups like Fury vs Usyk and Beterbiev vs Bivol on PPV. That's the reason they crtitized Haymon and are praising Turki.
Look at how long it took for Spence vs Crawford to happend due to Haymons advice.
Tell me a match of the level of Fury vs Usyk and Beterbiev vs Bivol Haymon has done post Mayweather era?Comment

If Haymon had created PBC as a fight league and showered all the promoters big and small with that wall street, investment firm money, he most likely would have succeeded with whatever his original plans were for that said entity.
Haymon was on high off of the massive, financial success of Mayweather vs Pacquiao, he thought he could replicate those numbers with Mayweather alone but failed, epicly.Comment

well, there's Wilder's second career as a punching bag. I'm not sure we would have seen an undisputed heavyweight champion. Assuming Beterbiev vs Bivol actually happens, I doubt that fight would have gotten made. It's a good point, though. They really haven't taken over anything. There's been a few good cards with mainly heavyweight fights that might not have gotten made.Comment

Do you notice that all but four of the top 20 were done by PBC. The two that MR/Dazn did were after they dropped that silly "PPV is dead" BS and put Canelo on game but even with him they CANNOT generate PPV sales like PBC can hence the reason why Canelo left them. Do you not realize that Canelo, Pac, Tank and Tyszu are looking at these numbers and they made a business decision to not partner with the Iron Sheik but stay with Haymon. You guys are really fuqing stoopid. I'm sorry to have fuqed your whole day up with a list of facts but that's what I'm here for. So carry on because I know you are in your grandmommie's basement about to have your weekly menage a trois with your left and rights hands so I hope I didn't 'screw' that up as well! hahahahahComment

Boxers and promoters will just take advantage of this saudi gravy train while it lasts. It'll become un sustainable at one point no matter how much oil money saudis make every 15min, nobody likes red numbers. Not even for the sake of 'country promotion' and 'sportwashing'. At some point the real backing behind Turki will have to cut the money flow into boxing.Comment

It is possible that Saudi might just stop the big spending in boxing and that could be it.
Understandably the fighters and promoters want to cash in now, strike while the iron is hot.
In terms of sport washing, it's a fair debate. But then does one stop all boxing in other countries because of their atrocities? Has America and the UK been innocent, no.Comment
