No I’m not. I am pointing out how similar actions are treated differently, a point many have made in The thread and what Bhop and Shakur are saying.

loma getting a bit of slack for the salido fight is totally different to shakur and his situation, if shakur had just fought salido after turning pro like loma did people would say yeah thats a hard fight to have now like it was, if loma was whining like shakur is seemingly a lot and turning down an undisputed fight and then saying he cant get big fights LOL & then having fans walk out of his fight and being very safety first etc, totally different things

Shakur has yet to reach the age Loma was when he turned pro. If Loma had turned pro at the same age Shakur did, he wouldn’t be fighting Salido as you know.

Loma did whine after the Salido loss. He cried like a child after losing to Haney.

How is Shakur any different from Loma here? Loma was claiming he wants Tank and then ducked as soon as negotiations begin.

You read what I posted. You know exactly what I posted and what I meant.

The different reaction to showboating from Loma’s fans. Other posters have mentioned same.

I saw Tank fans pointing out the hypocrisy in real time.

its a bit of a dangerous game when it goes to something like, oh the reaction to this thing years ago was different to the reaction to this thing years later, as far as i remember of course, i think anyway

i mean the reaction from who exactly, is this based on a handful of poster on this site? lol if it is they its needs careful reconsideration i would say

Shakur had better come up with something that keeps punchers like Davis honest or keep fighting boring fights with b and c level opponents.
I mean it makes perfect sense right? I think people sometimes do not see trends:

                  1. they assume that some of the other great defensive fighters did not need to be able to punch with power.
                  2. They think Shakur has dealt with that smoke because he beat a couple of work man like fighters, including with a KO.
                  3. They do not look carefully at the issues in the lower weight classes. Power is Golden. Fighters like Broner were destroyed because their power did not carry up... Power is necessary for guys to do virtually everything else...

Naw. We just need to be willing to have an open discussion about the point Shakur raised and the criticism he gets.

As to the criticism- the point he makes doesn’t imo apply to him. As to his point about difference in treatment - it is valid and fair.
