Given the circumstances, I expected the judges give a "cough draw cough" or maaaybe 115-113 Morrell giving him 1, 2, 3, 8, 9, 12 and one of 4 or 5...at worst 116-112 by giving both to follow the script.

Hot Rod was being underestimated...or maybe Morrell was being very overestimated. I've learned to never assume anything about a fighter until they've shown it.

Dude, it's well documented that I thought Hot Rod was no joke and that he'd take Morrell into some untested waters, and he certainly did. I just didn't expect him to look as comfortable as he did.

I watched with the volume off and scored a draw. With that said, the cards justify this being called a robbery because truth be told, the judges had Morrel up 5 rounds before the starting bell. This was a testament to the skill and preparation of Hot Rod. Morrel is still a very talented and gifted fighter but styles make fights.

They never look the same when fighting guys their own size.

I still think they beat everyone there mind but the two Russian killers.
