Shakur has to realize two things: It is always better to rid oneself of Arum. Just like it is better to rid oneself of King. Both men have a process that guarantees they get wealthy and their interests are not for boxing, for the boxer, or for the fans.

Shakur has to look at his qualities and use them to self promote.

If Shakur was offered Muratalla, that would've made for a compelling match-up. I understand why his team chose Artem, just like I understand why Teofimo chose Claggett. But what gets on the fans' nerves is their audacity to trash-talk and gaslight us into thinking they want to fight the best....when they don't even fight the best guys presented to them!

If TR is not putting their titlists and contenders on the table, then Shakur is within his right to feel frustrated with the process. But if his team is choosing the weakest option of whoever TR presents, then Shakur needs to start criticizing his inner circle.

Once Stevenson fights a fighter that is good fighting in a booth, he might suffer the same fate as Haney.

Stevenson is not worth $3 million a fight as well. Promoters are going to lose $$$ on him, I always stop watching his fights by the end of the 7th round because I know I’m going to see the same cycle of movement and punches. Gets boring
Saying this about Shakur is kinda insane. He definitely can fight inside.

The recent interview they played before the fight he said that he was ONLY offered Artem. He seemed visibly upset about it. And, I get it.

If they did that, it means they were trying to coerce him into signing an extension. If so, it's the right move to explore free agency. However, his mistake is publicly bad-mouthing TR. Fighters need to learn that burning bridges is never the correct move because the promoter will outlast the boxer. Think about how many generations of boxers Arum has seen walk through TR. Shakur is talented, but the boxer will always be perceived as expendable. Thank the promoter for the good times, and just keep it moving.

Loma was not the one Arum had been protecting from ass whooping. It's Shakur Stevenson. Loma fought Lopez and Haney. Arum couldn't even try disposable Berchelt and Navarette for Stevenson. Couldn't even give Muratalla.

Arum was protecting Loma. One of his cash cows is Loma. Loma losing to Shakur, will cost Arum millions. This is why he never pressed the issue for a matchup.
