Loma has said he can step aside and fight the winner of the fight. I doubt Ellerbe would be excited to work with Arum.

He's constantly booed in his own city. Videos of every one of his fights with LINES of fans fleeing by the ninth round. His own fans won't stay for the whole fights but casuals are going to pay $80 to watch him?

Sure the Valdez and Herring fights were entertaining. But those were the outliers, not the DLS fight. He fought DLS the same way he fought Nakathalia. The same way he fights ANYONE with a little power.

It is uncommon for a promoter to get every single fight they ask for....because a match-up takes two to tango. That's why promoters usually give fighters multiple options. Promoters can guarantee purses, but not specific match-ups.

I don't think it's a bad idea to explore free agency....but it IS a bad idea to trash-talk your promoter on the way out. Boxers need to get off social media and start creating diaries.

You are right, he fights the high risk, low reward guys in a way that he insures victory, regardless of the lack of action. He needs to fix that for sure.

Artem's previous fight a lot of us thought he beat or drew against Frank Martin. So he was given the opponent that Tanks recent opponent struggled with. That right there is an opportunity to make a statement. He failed that IMO.
