    Euro Level Athletes VS Russians

What is it that separates the Russian from the Euro.

Russians are capable of beating elite Mexicans and Blacks. Euros often get broken down then knocked out by the elites

    Kostya Tszyu [halfie]
    K2 Bros
    Kovalev
    ggg [halfie]
    Loma
    Usyk

From Russia: Beterbiev [Chechen] & Bivol

Russians don’t have the durability issues of Continental Europeans and Brits

I've answered you before on a similar question but esse tally it comes down to upbringing and lifestyle over the last few decades.

If you grow up in a rough, horrible place and are trained like a soldier through your childhood you probably are going to be better than someone who grew up in an OK place and went to the boxing club once a week after school as a kid.

Mongols already got sliced and diced up when they tried to conquer Europe. They could control large stretches of land on the steppe against unprepared tribes but in close hand to hand combat in the forest they got diced.

overrated when it comes to boxing

only Mongol representative is Kostya who’s half

The Central Asians have yet to shown much in pro boxing

Worth noting that the names you list (with the partial exceptions of Kovalev and Bivol who were very good but not quite top tier ammys) are the elite of the elite to come out of the excellent amateur programs left over from the Soviet era. Mostly Gold or Silver medalists at the olympics or World Championships these don't represent the average Russian / East European fighter.

Although yeah, I do also roll with the tougher upbringing / hardship argument proposed by Atypicalbrit - to an extent at least - tougher circumstances do tend to breed tougher men, or at least more men willing to drive themselves to the extremes necessary to excel when there's fewer other lucrative career options open to em.

brits and other euros that do leak out of continental europe now and then actually do much better than white americans as far as i see in the sport of boxing so maybe the question should be where are the white american boxers gone to? probably the same place a lot of euro boxers have gone to as well actually

the non-Russian former Soviet states are weird

they have good amateurs but lack pros

Perceived danger level: Boxing [get punched in the face] > Wrestling > BJJ

i dont think a lot of russians view themselves as euros at all, quick online search seems about 30% view themselves as euros, not sure if this is correct or not tho

id say a lot of russians cant stand europe actually, there is always some tensions there, i think they would be far better off cooperating and getting closer to europe instead of following this loon putiin & his outdated crazy ideas who sees himself as some tsar incarnated expanding russia to his beloved soviet union which fell apart for good reasons
