Now, this should be the narrative.

But the toxic fanbases of Tank & Garcia have spun this into making Devin the bad guy.

I mean if he said that from the jump it would’ve been one thing but he found out the fight purse and was the started this charade. I’m not a fan of either guy but Haney if fake af and and always was an email champion

You mean the much smaller guy who beat the Super Middleweight Devin Haney and got robbed? Yeah, i’d say given the size disparity and Loma winning in the eyes of many, he’s pretty good for beating a Super Middleweight at his age, size, and coming off a long layoff.

Haney vs Garcia is a modern day version of Julio Cesar Chavez vs Meldrick Taylor I. In the sense that the punishment Haney took in this fight ruined him just like the beating Taylor took against Chavez ruined Taylor.

Great comparison...Haney might be smiling and dancing on camera at the verdict but deep down he knows the beat down he received was NOTHING to do with PEDs. Ryan has always had KO power (and tested clean in every single fight before) and landed his left hook at will all night long despite Haney KNOWING it was his signature punch.

That was a close fight that could have legitimately gone either way. And if Haney is supposedly so much bigger? Then even making 135 lbs would be a disadvantage, not an advantage, as he was draining himself. Which we know for a fact was the case.

He has flaws but there is no doubt he is a world class fighter.

I do not think so. Its really quite simple. Haney needs this fight. By playing this the wrong way, and I say this regardless of what one believes about Haney... He miscalculated horribly. People are not sympathetic because Haney is a weight cheat, he took the fight knowing the weight disparity and... while we have members here who are astute and tell us, the amount tested in the body, does not necessarily mean, that was the amount used during training, people still feel the amount detected was miniscule.

People feel like the thing to do would be to take responsibility for the loss and rectify it in the ring. Right, or wrong, this is how people feel. Bill haney thought people would see it different. Haney understands that public sentiment, concensis has its own rules!

The truth? Who knows. Ryan did not appear to have a major physical advantage, maybe he did. His main advantage was psychological. He had nothing to lose. When he realized Haney could not dent his pretty face, he knew he could do what he wanted to poor Devin. And he did. Bill then left the house quickly... Not a good look.
