It’s very weird! All this talk about how small the amount was, etc., is weird because there was not supposed to be ANY amount of PEDs taken! Haney should’ve never fought him, when he came in 3lbs. over, but hindsight is 20/20!

What makes me laugh is Ryan begging Tank for a rematch! I would love to know what weight he would like that fight at? 145 with unlimited rehydration? Lol!

Here are the facts: 1) Haney is a bit overrated, specially considering his chin isn't the best. 2) Garcia almost lost the fight despite 3 knockdowns. That says a lot about his boxing skills. 3) Peds in boxing are here to stay. The cops are always one step behind with any type of crime. 4) Despite Ryan being overweight, the Haneys took the fight cause they wanted the money and thought it would be an easy win. It was a bad call. 5) Haney is not in trauma, he just doesn't want to fight a tricky Sandor Martin for almost no money (considering what his last pay check was.

“What happened to [Haney] in New York is one of the greatest injustices I’ve seen in boxing,” Sulaiman told Boxing Scene. “Meeting a fighter who did not make weight, who played mind games and had performance-enhancing drugs in his system, Haney still fought like a warrior. He got knocked down three times, and while many others would’ve stayed on the canvas, he got up every time.”

Porter and fellow “Deep Waters” analysts including Paulie Malignaggi and Hall of Fame commentator Teddy Atlas believe Haney’s courage that evening should be remembered.

“He still went 12 rounds against a guy on performance enhancers,” Porter said.

Atlas added, “We should be celebrating how miraculous it was that he survived with a guy who was overweight and on PEDs.”

Atlas and Malignaggi said the neglect of Haney versus the attention heaped on social media influencer Garcia reflects societal flaws.

“It’s not enough just to be a good fighter,” Atlas said. “[The public doesn’t] want a nice story. They want something crazy.”

Malignaggi stated that boxing should hold PED-positive fighters more accountable.

“There’s not enough punishment for PEDs,” Malignaggi said. “We have first-ballot Hall of Famers [who used]. There’s rewards [for use] and the perception that this doesn’t affect you.”

Considering the facts of the case – including the unattractive purse-bid offer of just over $1.6 million to fight the complicated Martin – Atlas said former undisputed lightweight champion Haney deserves time to heal and the opportunity to return and win, whether that comeback starts against a non-champion or up in the welterweight division.

“He was damaged – his ego, his psychology, his confidence,” Atlas said. “[Haney’s] not healthy. We have to take him at his word. He’s not right.”

Porter called the Garcia bout “the toughest loss” Haney will experience in the ring.

“What they painted him to be and what he had to live up to … it all came rushing in at the same time. So many things went wrong,” Porter said. “It’s too much to get past in a couple months.”
Now, this should be the narrative.

But the toxic fanbases of Tank & Garcia have spun this into making Devin the bad guy.

Yeah. If the signs weren't there throughout his career it would look so bad.

But he was pummelled by a tiny Loma, and walked back to his corner by Linares.

            He's packing glass

Or maybe it’s just for revenge? Maybe Haney believes he’s better than Ryan, when they’re on an even playing field, no weight games, no PEDs? Could be another Cotto vs. Margarito, maybe even better?

                  Nah , I doubt it
These guys know each other from the amateurs
You can’t talk bad about someone and their families etc ( talkin’ both )
Haney with the kill chit and even Ryan’s dad getting on-board
Just seems weird to me why Garcia would make him make money off his back
Haney , not only didn’t bud on himself but even got short changed
                  Chit is hitting the fan

This over rated bum got beaten and that’s that. He got battered like he was owned and that has always been a matter of time when you face better opposition. His record should now be showing 2 losses. He’s fackin chit.

3 pounds and weak ass osterine wasnt the problem, devin haney's complete lack of defense, his weak jaw and his feather fists were the problem. haney is only good when he has a massive size advantage and can hug his opponent to death. he also arguably lost to loma who is like 2 divisions smaller than him and was in his mid 30s.
