Anthony Joshua's return to a title?

Fury and Usyk figure to be joined at the hip for awhile for the real title.
Wilder's gone, retired or not; he's aged out.
    Ruiz remains semi-retired.

The predicted shattering of belt "unification" is about to begin, and outgoing era cash cow Anthony Joshua is carefully being maneuvered around all of those names into the right place at the right time, to contest for the title fragments that break off.
That's called good management in this killer sport.

Up next is still undeclared, but it's looking like a blockbuster UK showdown.

    Daniel Dubois, Greenwich, 21-2 (20)
    IBF interim heavyweight Champion

    Versus

    Anthony Joshua, Watford, 28-4 (25)
    Challenger

If this becomes signed, who's going to WIN??

My mind says "Joshua, easy. Too polished".

But Dubois is a very live underdog or more, and just fought a fight better than anything Joshua has done for years and years.

If not for Dubois lack of heart in the ring, he is a very formidable and developed heavyweight. Has size, power, great arsenal of punches, and throws them well.

I favour AJ but I think it’s a bit of a shootout. It’s a far more interesting fight than AJ-Parker 2 or AJ-Zhang. I’ll be disappointed if this isn’t the headline fight of the Saudi Wembley Card.

I think AJ deals with Dubois relatively easily.

I don't think it's very competitive. AJ defeats Dubois easily. I'd much rather see AJ/Zhang before Zhang gets much older.

Good management to be positioned. But in this Saudi mini era he's also fighting whoever is in front of him in his quest to be champion again. I'm not sure how anyone can criticise the opponents being touted.

If he goes to Dubois then it's a dangerous fight. Dubois has a genuinely good jab and some serious power, albeit questionable defence. Right now I'd say Joshua is levels above but it's fights like this that give younger fighters a chance to office prove their level.

                - - Be much like AJ vs Francis, not a fair fight but a good fight to put the final nail in AJ ever giving Deyonce a decent payday.

Plenty of up and comers and as we know, Usyk is in his last fight and only because he showed how shot Blubber really is. Then the titles split and AJ can put them together again to retire HOF.

Wouldn't mind AJ-Zhang if only to see how he weathers the early Zhang storm; also, we still haven't seen Zhang stopped or even dropped yet, despite his rubbish stamina.

Parker is deserving of a shot, but doubtless it would be a fairly dull fight, so not the ideal choice. AJ-Dubois carries the most intrigue for sure.

Carefully maneuvered like the boy in the bubble.

How about earning your shot the old fashioned way. By beating up the competition and clearing out the division instead ?

Awwww hell nahhhh says Princess Joshy!
