  • I'd definitely watch, I wasn't around for much of it but there'd be loads I'd be interested in hearing about, the shooting, the London Arena etc. King had a 50% ownership in Sports Network, Frank and a holding company the other 50%, when it was established in 1994, according to a judgment in the Court...

  • I think that’s the gist of it, King had all of the US rights and Frank would have 50% of any European shows the promotion (was it Sports Network) did I believe. It went **** up as you say, I don’t know about the settlement, I thought Frank lost to Don and ended up owing him high seven figures,...

  • Even that got pretty acrimonious in the 1990s, Frank lost a legal action to Don that cost him an awful lot of money, and I think his contract with Naz?...

  • Not technically UK, but Makabu-Jack to be the chief support for the Jake Paul-Fury fight. Who’s Jack promoted by? If he wins (unlikely, because he looked poor against Rivera, but Makabu is hardly a P4P talent), might it be easier to get him over for a UK fight then dealing with Don?

He's an embarrassment to boxing imo. The casuals have been lapping up this elbow nonsense as well....

As RJJ said, Meng seems a likely opponent. EverythingBoxing on Twitter mentioned Elbiali as a possibility as well? Should be Lyndon Arthur or McCrory imo, if either would take it...

  • Think everyone's got it spot on. Golden Boy don't have many headliners, and they really need to get Munguia a good fight - they seem to be avoiding any titlists. The matchmaking will need to be good for Berlanga's next one or two fights though, because he'll need a KO or two to make a Munguia fight...

Seen on BoxingScene this morning that, as suspected, Opetaia's next fight will likely be his IBF mandatory defence against Masternak. Where are we with the cruisers at the minute? Any chance CBS or Riakporhe get a current world champion next (including Okolie in this, as they seem to be building that...

  • Would rather see GGG-Smith at Anfield instead. Eubank looks ruined at 160, the rematch isn't a remotely interesting contest at that weight....

Yeah, think I saw Cunningham’s going March 25th, and then they’ll do him and Davies in the summer....

Liam Davies is injured, out of the April 29th fight - Cunningham will fight for the WBA Continental, whether it's on the same date/card as originally arranged I don't know.

Couple of stoppage wins, albeit against the same fighter. Sounds about right....

Shows the belief they’ve got in him. That’s a great idea tbf, they need to get Ball in with renowned domestic fighters like Dickens etc, he was getting some attention from the casuals after the Isaac Lowe fight, needs to keep riding that wave....

Would love to see it down the line, both look class. Reckon McCann would have Davies convincingly now? Or would it be close given that Davies has mixed in higher quality opposition...

That is a good fight. If he stops Baluta that’ll be extremely impressive. Would I be right in saying Cain and McCann, while not quite as far through their development, have higher potential than Davies - who would you favour in a fight between the first two?

Agree, good opponent for Dalton and then hopefully the European after that sometime late summer (is Poulsen the champion? Don't they keep rescheduling his fight or is that someone else) would be a nice next step.

Poor card I agree. Won't be shelling out for it.

    Shame that,...

  • Thought I read he'd be facing Bakole next. If that falls through, then I wouldn't mind seeing him in with Joseph Parker. The issue is I'm not sure that headlines anywhere. Hunter-Bakole II or Hunter-Parker would be a good chief support for most UK fights though.

    Other than that, maybe get...

Sam Maxwell on the Wood-Lara card in a tune up, presume the plan is he'll be Dalton's next opponent (assuming both win in Feb) in April in Sheffield.

Think I read somewhere that the AJ undercard would have Chantelle Cameron, Cash-Signani, Wardley-Ali, and Nina Hughes against Courtenay?...
