The fact is his admission of never attempting to make the 140 limit in the first place by weighing 3 lbs over shows a conscious intent to cheat and also when you couple that with the fact that he failed four drug tests from the same specimen. I think that a disqualification and at least a two year suspension is justified.
Ryan Garcia was never going to follow a traditional path in boxing. He's proven that his social media stardom matters as much or more than organizational belts. He remains a global superstar. If his team is smart, they will set up big money cross-over fights with guys like Connor McGregor or Jake Paul. He could well make more money during his hiatus than at any point prior.

Aren't you the same guy who said Canelo is "likely clean" even though he's a convicted drug cheat?

Where do you get off belittling people's intelligence? You are hands down the biggest idiot on here.

He's trying to pull the same thing Tyson Fury did - retire ahead of a suspension. Come back and act like there was something not on the level about him failing the test.

Kid is a f_ucking disgrace, and anyone who defends his ass is racist or mentally ret@rded. Full stop. They will seriously defending a drug cheat who came in three pounds overweight because they don't want to give up relishing Haney losing. There is no other explanation for this kind of mentally unwell behavior.

Maybe female boxing could be his new calling.

I hope they don’t backdate it either.
But you were ok with Canelo getting a backdated ban..

                  Why?

                    **** boxing.

I drove 12 hours for my opponent to weigh in 24 pounds overweight, and the commission did nothing. Promoter didn't want to pay my purse, let alone my travel, and we weighed in on official state scales.

                    The sport is a joke.

Good for Garcia. He made a lot of money. Leave boxing alone. It's corrupt, beyond repair.
