Yet more deflection from an absolute joke of a so-called “journalist/historian”. You can’t explain your pure hypocrisy when talking about Wilder’s age, you won’t address whether Wilder was lying or not in that Twitter post saying he was offered more money to fight AJ than Fury, and you sure as hell can’t address why Wilder was “aged out” by the time of the Fury trilogy, but still looked a million dollars knocking out Helenius.
AJ is world-class but I wouldn’t yet call him great - I think he needs more defining victories to make that argument. An argument that can never be made for Wilder who has been repeatedly found out when stepping up, and can only hang his hat on 2 victories against a 40 year old fighter with high blood pressure, in 40+ fights..imagine that.
Anyway I’ll leave it there because you’ve proven beyond reasonable doubt that you’re devoid of common sense and lack the ability to answer basic questions when pertaining to Wilder. Have a nice day.

And yes, if there is a rematch Fury will be the favorite with a better than average chance to win.

Take that away and Joshy has a record in his last 3 fights of an overmatched sparring partner, a late replacement fall guy and a shot journeyman.
The guy has fought 1 exhibition round in the last year...Go the WBC!!!

It looks like the confident A.J. is back , I certainly hope so, that AJ can beat anyone in the division on any given night. I wonder if that is the AJ that shows up against Big Doobie , if not , he's in trouble.CPNUTKnockoutFreshMart likes this.

Can you imagine the hype if Joshua had actually grown a pair and fought Wilder and Zhang in succession ?
For all the confidence AJ supposedly has in saying he'll fight anyone anywhere anytime, he hasn't called anyone out or given Turki his choice on who he'd like to fight yet.
Dude is still hiding behind Hearn's skirt.

This was not a close fight. Not even sort of close. Fury got outboxed for nine rounds and got beat around the ring nearly KO’d before being saved by the referee. AJ was merely outboxed twice.greeneye99 likes this.

And what exactly is AJs "current form" the one with Davison? aka beating the MMA fighter and the 100s of rounds sparring partner and twice beaten in the amateurs Wallin?
Or are we talking about him beating Franklin coming off his loss to Whyte (contentious but still) or Helenius who he looked awful against until he landed one clean punch, which is expected against the chinless wonder that is Helenius.
The reality is they've both been fighting nothing but cans since Wlad and they've both lost to their best opponent since the aforementioned.
