Yet we have the saga of Pete Rose, a throwback to those days. Denied entry because his ******** tarnished the sport.

I don't know... I would think Fury and some of the others would get considered, but I don't know and as a principle of life and epistemology I feel these decisions always are affected by historical trends, yet unknown to us as the dialectic turns...What if the next heat is worse? Or so much better that indeed... there is a big hole for this time? I have virtually no way of knowing.
When people say ''they're called HOFame, not HOGreatness'' really irks me.
    Being a great athlete/sports journalist/announcer/ref/etc > Fame.
One should be famous because they're great. Not because of their notoriety.

The Rose banning is a disgrace.
They will probably pardon him on his death bed.

The early days of most athletes were, I'd assume, filled with debauchery.

Fury gets in by default -
His notoriety (Gypsy King nonsense) will be his ticket, not so much his accomplishments, IMHO.
Winning a fight (without the use of violence) vs an equally passive, post prime Wlad
Owning Wilder, who himself, has a god awful resume.
    Owning Chisora, too

Now add the rest of the context - Wlad had reigned for near 10 years with 18 successful defences, Wilder had reigned for 5 years and 9 successful defences, 10 if you count a draw which some people weirdly do which if you count the draw is historically significant because he'd be tied with Ali for successful defences....

Making Fury the guy to end the reign of multiple long reigning champions with a multitude of defences.

      For more context -

Usyk - AJ - 1 defence - 9 months, Fury - 3 defences, 4 year reign and if you want to be ridiculous 9 defences of his lineal status...(but why would you)

      Ruiz - AJ - 6 defences - 3 year reign.

AJ - Parker - 2 defences 14 month reign, Martin 0 defences therefore no reign as a champion, Wlad fight was for a vacant title.

Wilder - Stiverne - 0 defences therefore no reign as a champion.

Post prime Wlad is his best name. AJ did it better.
99.9% of everyone said Wilder had the most laughable resumes of any active fighter. Now his name is worth mentioning.
Hate to hreak it to you but we are in the throes of the shlttiest HW era in recorded history.

Don't care about your opinion on AJ doing it better, AJ doing it better is him getting dragged into the trenches with a damn near 42 year old man...

Fury outboxed Wlad the masterboxer and punched up the huge puncher in Wilder, context matters.

And where did I say Wilder had a good resume or the era was good, you've got me confused for someone else, son.

Maybe a dozen combined punches were thrown anger. 3 may have landed.

And your point being!? Wlad isn't known for his output he's a clincher, literally was mockingly called " Grabimir Clinchko" (Povetkin fight being a perfect example, he engaged in more clinches than punches landed) and nor is Fury known for his output.

But the hyperbole is cute but then again it's apparent you're a fan of AJ, a younger, fresher Wlad got blasted out multiple times way earlier then AJ managed it but "AJ done it better" right by getting in a dog fight with a man ready to draw his pension...

                Who the frig is Greg???

                • All the Dubious haters in the building? It's so nice to see Daniel get redemption and prove all the trolls on here wrong. The guy has been through some tough fights, learned his lessons, strengthened himself mentally and did the job on Hrgovic. Cong**** to Daniel and his whole team. He has serious power.
Sure he has defensive flaws but he's getting better and now he's a legit player. Hrgovic along with everyone else who had him winning this fight in 6 rounds got it all wrong and completely underestimated Dubois' ability. Give the guy some credit, be a man and accept that you were wrong.
I was going for Daniel in this fight but I had Hrgovic the favorite. Daniel rose above the odds.

Croatia’s only world champion is a woman!!!!

I bet the country supports the 3 losers more than their only woman world champ.

Hearn got wiped out 10-0 by Warren LMFAO

DAZN must now understand why they’ve lost hundreds of millions with Hearn. Go Frankie.

                    Wilder…. He’s been finished
Hergovic, the robot got whooped by Danny Boy.
Zhang, gets another huge Saudi payday.

Very good fights. The Saudi's are now the boxing capital of the world. Money talks

Turkie, get rid of loser Hearn and please stop bringing back Wilder and Miller.

Canelo vs Crawford? Waste of time. Crawford’s Boots? That’s the fight.
I agree with everything you said except for Turki getting rid of Hearn. Without Hearn there would've been no 5 v 5. That's silly. It was a great night of boxing that Queensberry won but two stables to pick from is better than one. Most people thought Team Matchroom had the edge going in but boxing brings surprises all the time.

For me, of the 2, AJ is a more entertaining fighter.
That crap Fury and Wlad did should have qualified for a refund. I've seen more violence on DWTS.

                      Its a shlt HW era
No one around to build a respectable resume.
