I've seen enough. It was clear to me that Fury was beginning to dominate the fight until he got careless. I expect him to stop Usyk late in the rematch. We most likely see the very best version of Fury

He's been knocked down I think around 8 times in his career(4 by Wilder, 1 Cunningham, 1 Ngannou, and two early on I think) before the Rd 9 thrashing Usyk put on him.

I didn't see the KDs early in his career but -Cunningham had him down very hard.
-Wilder had him down very hard once in the first fight and once in the 3rd fight. Fury barely got up from these knock downs.
-Ngannou had him down pretty hard but never in danger of not getting up
-Usyk then battered him like he stole something.

all of this is not even mentioning how he had a drug and booze sodden hiatus of 3 years of partying and eating like a pig, ballooning up to 400 plus pounds. And many other instances of being out of shape for fights apart from this.

All this **** takes its toll. I think Fury is a very old 35 and Usyk is a very young 37. Usyk has never been down. Took a hard punch from Gassiev, a few good shots from AJ, a rough house mauling from Delboy but not too much legit damage. And then a few nice upper cuts from Tyson that had him not too far from a KD.

It'll be an incredible win if Fury pulls it off but the odds are stacked in Usyks favour.

I think you have to take into account the quality of those knockdowns. Most of them were hard knockdowns, its' not like he was simply overwhelmed and had to take a knee or a flash knockdown, most of them are Fury on his back looking up. Those are the kind of knockdowns where you leave a piece of yourself in the ring, and Fury's had 7 of those.

I have to admit i was initially an Usyk doubter and thought Delboy would iron him out.

Those shots from Usyk apparently don't count. Nor those from the 1st to the 7th.

That's why the scoring is so generous to Fury. People didn't score those punches as significant because they believed Usyk couldn't hurt Fury.

But Fury was getting beaten up. Usyk buzzed him in the first and second rounds only for Fury to bounce off the ropes claiming they didn't hurt.

Then in the 8th and 9th it became very clear what those left hands were doing. Fury was getting busted up.

It was never just one punch. It was lots of punches.

I always figure Fury can surprise us but I agree this would be a big one.

He can't avoid a left hand. Ngannou landed almost everything he threw and Usyk repeatedly nailed him with it. I believe he gets beaten worse next time around.

Usyk is a lot smaller and Fury didn't see him as much of a threat being a former cruiser which is why he was doing all of that showboating.

Which showed me that he wasn't completely focused. If he would would have stuck with the game plan when he was dominating Usyk in the middle rounds, that would have been it. Usyk was there for the taking.

We've seen Fury rise to the occasion when he destroyed Wilder in the second fight. Only this time we get to see him coming back off a loss. After all of his running of the mouth about how he will go down as the greatest heavyweight of all time. I am very excited to see this version of Fury.

I fully expect him to return in the rematch with Lennox Lewis type focus and vengeance on the much smaller Usyk.

              And that will be it..........
If you can't see that the showboating was actually fear and kidology, then no one can help you.

I mean its good to have some fear. He trained like he never has for this fight, and tried his best... But he knew.

In fairness, of course he has a chance, he's HUGE. But its no more than a punchers chance at this point.

For 3 rounds I saw a fury that was best ever heavyweight. The supposedly amazing sparring fury, fury s sparring partners rave about.

He got chinned because he was fat and tired. He ‘showboats’ for a rest because he can’t fight at a high pace round after round. Rematch he gets chinned again exactly the same but hopefully not saved by the ref and bell.

Don’t ever use Lennox Lewis and Fury in the same sentence.

Plain and simple! Usyk kicked Fury’s ass because he’s the better fighter and if there is a rematch; Usyk will do it again.
