Usyk can drop all the belts in the garbage and he will still be N.1. and Fury N.2. Belts don`t mean much when elites fight.

That's why it's even more obvious that if the IBF does strip Usyk and Hrgovic fights and beats Dubois for the IBF belt, it will hold even less meaning. He will not have beaten a champion and most people will not considered him a legitimate title holder. He will be a Charles Martin/Rolly Romero sort of champion.

It’s not fair to all the other guys to wait another 6 months. Hrgovic/DDD as the champ throws a nice mix into HW which has been changing quite quick in the past two years. But it’s fair to strip Usyk who’s rightfully earned the undisputed title, so some guy he made quit and a guy who’s just fought Mark De Mori can fight for a share of the title?

The fans want that but for the promoters, TV companies, events organizers - they make a ton more money with multiple "champions". Also the public are ****** - they will watch a fight between 2 "champions" no matter if they are fake or not.

It doesn’t matter if they strip him or not. Usyk is the real undisputed champion. Any other belt holder from this point forward is a paper champion. Usyk is the real champion until he loses or retires. If he retires then they can start the BS over again. Hopefully it doesn’t take 25 years again to have another undisputed HW title fight.

Hrgovic got a gift decision in his only decent "win" and Usyk already knocked out Dubois with a jab. Neither one of them deserves a title shot. The winner of this fight should have to fight Joshua or Parker or the winner of Wilder v Zhang to earn a real title shot.
