That's why it's even more obvious that if the IBF does strip Usyk and Hrgovic fights and beats Dubois for the IBF belt, it will hold even less meaning. He will not have beaten a champion and most people will not considered him a legitimate title holder. He will be a Charles Martin/Rolly Romero sort of champion.

Coming from an empty suit like Peoples, comes as no surprise, this guy is a pathetic excuse for a president of a World organization, his uncle was Bob Lee, that's all you need to know.Comment

Well, let's take a look at how many times Errol Spence Jr defended his IBF belt against a mandatory in 4 years...
One time.
Then look at how long you gave Crawford when he had Spence's outstanding mandatory after he won undisputed at 147.
If you are willing to break the rules when getting paid off by Haymon, your rules don't mean squat.

It’s not fair to all the other guys to wait another 6 months. Hrgovic/DDD as the champ throws a nice mix into HW which has been changing quite quick in the past two years. Let AJ fight the winner and of these three let them fight the winner of the rematch. I think next two years will be very interesting at HW.Comment

Come on man.
This is why boxing’s popularity has waned.
Imagine in 83, if they said hey let’s take one of the belts off Hagler if he fights Duran because Roldan and Hamsho don’t deserve to wait.
One champion per division, is far better for the sport on all levels and ABC’s should do their bit to ensure that. Title fights should be between the best guys in the division, not two lower end top 10 guys who’ve politicked their way into a favourable ranking position.Comment

There needs to be a reason for them to change

It doesn’t matter if they strip him or not. Usyk is the real undisputed champion. Any other belt holder from this point forward is a paper champion. Usyk is the real champion until he loses or retires. If he retires then they can start the BS over again. Hopefully it doesn’t take 25 years again to have another undisputed HW title fight.Comment
