I suspect the Saudis will start organizing more tournaments for each weight class, essentially forcing ABC orgs out, and only promoters will have a lifeline, as long as they bring in their best fighters to fight the best. There couldn't be a better time to do it than now, with several Undisputed Champions in existence in important weight classes (Uysk, Crawford, and Inoue). Then the Saudis can proclaim the Undisputed World Champion Belt, only one ever needed in the future. So F the ABC orgs. Their time has passed.

So what? You care only for Undisputed. Now no one should fight and have a chance?
I Want all of them to fight each other. Not just to watch next 3 years only Fury, Usyk and Joshua

          Come on man.

This is why boxing’s popularity has waned.

Imagine in 83, if they said hey let’s take one of the belts off Hagler if he fights Duran because Roldan and Hamsho don’t deserve to wait.

One champion per division, is far better for the sport on all levels and ABC’s should do their bit to ensure that. Title fights should be between the best guys in the division, not two lower end top 10 guys who’ve politicked their way into a favourable ranking position.
Come on man. Usyk can fight his mandatory now if he wants to keep IBF. What is with all of you...it is simple as that. If Usyk wants rematch he knew few month's a gomwhat wil happen with IBF belt. He is bitching about that. Why are you?
IBF stripping New unified champion...there is no New news in this if it happens.... Why People are shocked here... ??

Even if Hirgovic is below average, he followed the rules, fought his eliminators, and is owed a shot. So either pay him to step aside, or get stripped.

And what difference does it make anyways? If Fury wins the rematch, or if its even close or disputed, they will fight a THIRD time. And what, then everyone else gets to pause their careers AGAIN for yet another 6-8 months??
Good to know that there are reasonable people out there. All that you wrote I back up 100%.

Honestly doesn't matter one bit. IBF stripping USYK does not make him no longer undisputed, he is still undisputed and he would be undisputed even if all the organizations stripped him. Until he loses or retires he is hands down the undisputed champ.

It's like when Lennox Lewis defeated Evander Holyfield and immediately lost the WBA belt and later the IBF belt... meant nothing, he was still being introduced as the undisputed heavyweight champ of the world all the way up until he retired after facing Vitali Klitschko.

And to be honest.. I wouldn't be surprised if more organizations strip Usyk since Usyk only fights once a year, and at this point he has earned the right to pick and choose who he wants to face.

The IBF's #2 spot is open because they keep their #1 and #2 spots open by default unless two other fighters in the top 15 fight an eliminator. That's the only way to get an IBF #1 or #2 spot. That's one of the reasons (the others are their 2nd day weigh in policy and their strip-happy reputation) the IBF usually has garbage mandatory challengers you've never heard of; because name fighters would rather go through the WBC, WBA, or WBO if they can. But they all have their own problems, many worse than the IBF.

WBA, WBC, IBF, and WBO rankings are utterly worthless in all contexts.

That's why you have to look at independent rankings. TBRB, The Ring, ESPN, BLH, places like that. They're the only ones ranking the best fighters in a division from 1-10.
And what a suprise Hrgovic is highly ranked there as well...the ring, espn, tbrb...so for all you that are asking did he deserve IBF mandatory.....

TBRB still has him behind Usyk, Fury, Joshua, Parker, and Kabayel.

ESPN has him behind Usyk, Fury, Joshua, and Parker.

The Ring has him behind Usyk, Fury, Joshua, Parker, Kabayel, and Zhang.

So it seems like Fury, Joshua, Parker, and Kabayel should all be ahead of him in line for fights if you want to play that game. Hrgovic is still being ranked mostly off the Zhang win, which most people thought he deserved to lose anyway, and Parker has since beaten Zhang and Wilder.
