It was, honestly, in the grander scheme of things, merely, an overhyped, flash knockdown, and Fury was absolutely fine, he was just using his ring craft to find space across the other side of the ring.

A real knockdown is Fury vs Schwarz, Fury's punch-push combo vs Whyte, Beast Wilder vs Ortiz. Nash out

In fact, none of the knockdowns Fury suffered from the right hand of Wilder seemed to hurt him like that short left hook from Usyk.

Usyk done a great job of disguising the left hand that hurt him. Got him right in the sweet spot. He had eyes like the boy in deliverance after that shot. Only thing missing was the banjo.

I was rooting for Fury, but a flash knockdown? Sorry bro, but that shot put Fury on ***** street like I've never seen him before.

Fury was already going down from the right. Check out the slow-motion @ 50 seconds.

Yeah, he was fooked. Some refs would have stopped it after he stumbled all over the ring and got caught again. I'm glad the ref let it go on, but I'm disappointed that Fury didn't or couldn't get him back.

These white referees tend to favor Tyson Fury over his opponents. We all witnessed it first hand in Wilder/Fury I and now we have witnessed it again in Tyson Fury vs Oleksandr Usyk.

There was no flash knockdown, just some brilliant defensive footwork and body swerving punch evasion combined with Ali style rope-a-dope tactics by Fury. No justification at all for that corrupt ref to give Fury a count and Usyk a 10-8 round just because Tyson was leaning on the ropes. If Ali could do that, why couldn't Tyson?

                  Kafkod out.

                    Why bring race into it?

Kenny Bayless is black and he was a key member of the glovegate, eggweightgate, water dopinggate conspiracy that cheated Deontay out of his WBC title.

Have to agree with this. It looked like the ref did his best to ignore the falling into the ropes rule to avoid giving Usyk a 10-8 round and only applied it when Fury was helpless and about to be punched off the ropes and onto the canvas.
