Fury is no doubt a looney toon character but when he does fight, he wins. Period.
against who ? What you mean wallin who joshua easily destroyed ? Against wilder who Parker beat every single second of there fight or Ngannou who was knocked out cold by joshua……yeah you can win against mediocre heavyweights but that’s a false prophecy because it deludes yourself and a lot of naive fans thinking he cannot be beat.
when he faces usyk this Saturday that mindset will get blown to pieces

I’m sure the response will be “I’ll believe it when I see him in the ring”
After he gets in the ring, the next goalpost shift will be “Usyk is going to school him”
After the fight they’ll shift again to, “So he won but he will never fight AJ”
Next will be Fury needs to fight Hgrovic
You forget major points some have been using for years:
      • He is ageing him out, like Fury is so well preserved with his lifestyle and is a lot younger
      • The referee and the judges will be corrupt, assuming Fury can't win otherwise, unless a KO which leads to the third one if it happens
      • Fury fought dirty which is related to the first part of the previous
I am not making any prediction, to me, it is 50:50 and may the victory go with the one who performs better. It will be a bit sad because one of them will lose (even though imagine the interest a draw will generate in a rematch, plus a draw is not impossible) but he will have the chance to revenge. We better hope both perform at their best because they are elite and because of the meaning of this fight.

Yes he does. But.... so does Usyk. That is what makes this fight so much fun to analyze. Crazy to think how each man has gotten here by such different paths and styles, but each man has proven to be warriors who just both win. Period.

The responsible way to communicate all this would have to include the notes that explain things such as:

Wallin is a fringe contender, much like Helenius. A good win. an expected win.

Wilder is "The guy who lost a nod to Parker" and nothing more, like Joshua is "the guy who was blown away by Ruiz", like Usyk is "the guy who got felled fair by Dubois and cried to the ref for help". Like Parker is "the guy chewed up and spit out by Joyce", and nothing more.

As they run through the mill, all if them get wins and losses in an active division.

Anyone thinking that Fury's cash grab against the hapless Ngannou holds any meaning regarding Fury's fighting ability is a newcomer to the sport.

But I myself might learn a thing or two Saturday.
If Usyk wins, it makes Joshua look good.
If Fury wins, it makes Wilder look good.
Its not a triangle theory being employed to forecast a fight outcome saying so. It's how things work.

Fury built his reputation off of Wilder.
Usyk built his off of Joshua

I'm sure usyk improved since gasiev days. Of course fury is great. But I never hear wlad or wallin or whythe say fury is great?
                Why only sparring partners?
Fury always, always, always gets job done. But so does usyk

I can't see it making a difference to how people view Wilder unless Fury gives Usyk a worse beating than he gave Wilder maybe.

Fury got here by taking easy touches and took 3 years off he’s never fought back to back legit top 10 guys that’s how you know your good because outside Wilder then going into a Whyte fight that’s the only time Fury ever did that and that’s as champion bc he was forced into it ? Lol

Usyk is a true warrior the only easy touches he took was when he came into the pro heavyweight division and had injuries postpartum his career as well a Covid etc etc .

Theres a huge difference between these two if Fury wins he’s basically stealing the spot light bc Usyk did all the historical stuff , but speaking of stealing literally bc I don’t think for one second the two judges assigned to this fight will remotely give it to Usyk if it’s a close fight that Usyks won without any knockdowns unless Fury is battered and bloodied throughout the fight .

Usyk deserves to win he’s strived for it and kept dedicated, Fury is the big goof ball, who lies time and again he dint even care about what his own fans think , I’ll be rooting for Usyk hard but my prediction is Fury will get a robbery win ,hopefully he just gets pummeled and the ref remembers it’s a boxing match not MMA .

Listening to John will be nauseating itself . Lol

This is the best counter argument/response I’ve seen here.
I was going to go with a few examples of the obtuse triangle theories casuals love to use but your response was perfect. Thank you
